He saw Holly throw a pill bottle at his face with a great force and collide with his nose.
"I bought these because I was h-having a hard time dealing with my thoughts at night. I'd take one each night and go to bed." Ross confessed tearfully.
"But he won't be using those for that anymore." Holly sneered.
"Don't do it, Ross. You promised. You promised you wouldn't leave me." Danny pleaded with all his might.
"I won't do it." He stood up for himself and looked Holly dead in the eye from his kneeling position on the floor. Holly still had the gun pointed to Dan's head, but the thing that made him nervous was that it wasn't shaking like her hands should be. She should be at least a little nervous. In the middle of LA and threatening to murder with one of the loudest murder weapons. Dan looked between the two and for a while, he thought that he and Ross both were going to be okay.
Then there was a gunshot. Danny collapsed to his knees and fell onto his chest, but unfortunately, his eyes were still open. He was still conscious, but he couldn't move.
"At least the world doesn't have to deal with him anymore." Holly shrugged nonchalantly and left as Ross stared at his now dead lover in the eyes. He scrambled over to him with a shaky body and tears already over-flowing.
"Danny?" Ross whispered and shook his shoulder only to find him unresponsive. He screamed out while running his hands over Dan's face multiple times before standing up and writing something on his chest with sharpie. It read in all capital letters: 'HOLLY CONRAD KILLED DAN AVIDAN'.
"They'll know now." Ross whispered into Dan's ear as if he still were alive before standing up and grabbing the pill bottle. Dan was forced to watch as he dumped the bottle's insides out onto the palm of his hand and popped them all into his mouth.
