(Now outside of the conference room)
"You're so lucky," said Nudge to Fang, "You're eighteen and you found out you have a mom! It's like a two for one deal!"
"We even might get to meet her!" Squealed Angel.
"I have to do my hair and pick the right outfit." Announced Nudge, "I'll see you guys later, come on Angel, let's tell Akila and Total."
"See you guys," Angel said as she turned and left with Nudge.
We stayed as a group after the meeting with my mom to have a meeting of our own. I told each of them about the emergency packs I had and invade of extreme emergency just to go for the nearest exits, which we found conveniently in a map of the cave, which actually had three more levels we hadn't explored. Iggy had left with Ella to check out the library, Gazzy left because he smelt pie, and just now Nudge and Angel left as well.
Me, Fang, and Dylan were left, but this probably wouldn't end well.
"Can we talk?" Dylan asked.
"I'd prefer not too." I said, sending an ice cold glare.
"I want to apologize."
"You can apologize all you want, it doesn't change what you did."
"I am sorry."
"I don't care!" I'm mad and up in his face now, " You tried to KILL Fang! It'll take more than an apology to gain even a sliver of my trust back!"
"Can I ask you something?" Fang icily injected towards Dylan, "Can you just leave? If you love Max then you need to realize you are the threat. You're a loose cannon and you're gonna get all of us in trouble if you don't leave."
"Didn't you leave for that reason?" Dylan stabbed back coldly.
Fang pushed him back and got in his face.
"It was a danger that I left, that's why I came back, but don't you see? Max doesn't love you! You were part of the threat."
"It's time you get over me." I said with a stone cold expression on my face, "You've gotten in the way and I think it's time you make your own path, and not follow ours anymore. I love Fang, not you, and you need to except that."
I unfurl my wings and push off into the air, speeding away from Dylan, my rage escaping through each beat of my wings.
