"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."
- Will RogersRhys Mason would get on the train at 07:26 Monday through Friday.
Aubrey Forman knew this as she got on that very same train only two stops earlier, at 07:17. They would usually share a look, sometimes a smile, before she went back to her book and he found his seat - always the one closest to the door. That was the extent of their relationship, if it could even be called that.
Until, one morning, Rhys didn't get on the train.
But then, only the next day, Rhys was back with a bruise and an idea.
An idea that he needed Aubrey's help with.
