"Come on!" I shout at the hunter, she growls at me and slowly advances forward. I shoot at her twice but she dodges them both. Finally, I think, a challenge. Ditching my pistols, knowing they would be no use I slip two daggers from my holster and grip them tightly. I lick my lips and attack, I cant expect the straighforward moves from a person with such expertise so I ditch my normal moves and allow my senses to take over. Feeling a slight breeze to my left I swing out my hand and a cry of pain rewards me, only to be returned with several claws in my stomach.
We carry on slashing and hacking at eachother for god know how long until a loud growl breaks us apart. I look up at my opponent, we have both barely broken a sweat. A pitch black wolf, two times the size of a normal werewolf comes into view and growls again when blondie steps towards me. The wolf stalks towards me so I get in a fighting stance before it does something strange.
It lays down insubmission to me.
Randal, a voice echoes in my head.
Randal shifts and slips on some clothes before facing us.
"Colton I had it." Blondie states, hold up. How does she know who he is?
"I see that Cindy, but I think you might have underestimated my mates skills." Colton says proudly.
"Colton you came to early, couldn't you have come after I kicked Blondie's ass?" I ask and they both ignore me. Idiots.
"Um, Colton did you say mate?" Colton nods at Blon- I mean Cindy's question which causes her to swear under her breath. "The Marked Assassin is your mate?"
"As you would have known if you had arrived from your trip on time and attended the pack meeting. She even offered to train the pack." He said, smirking. I roll my eyes and so does she. I am starting to like this girl more and more. Maybe after I kill the pack she will join me.
"Well then, I'm Cindy. I am the Hunter of this pack and Colton's sister, it's nice to meet you Luna." I stare shocked at her sudden change in attitude until my mind replays her greeting. There goes my plan about a team...
"Uh, please dont call me Luna its just Allison and its nice to meet you too. Your one hell of a fighter." I greet and Cindy smiles.
"You too, do you want to spar sometime?" She asks and I nod my head.
"How about tomorrow after training?" I reply. Why am I being nice?
"Sure thing." She says before running into the woods, a few seconds pass before I notice how quiet Colton has been and spin around to face him.
"What?" I ask incredulously.
"I think you and my sister are going to be great friends." He replies thoughtfully before his eyes turn a darker shade. "Oh and, why in the hell did you leave!? He adds, clearly pissed.
"I was bored and went hunting. For werewolves." I state blandly, already bored with the subject.
"So it was you." He whispers to himself. What did I do this time?
"What was me?" I ask, and this time he growls at me. What, the actual fuck?
"The murder! Don't play dumb with me. Leave, and don't come back. I Alpha Colton of the Blood Moon pack reject you-" Hold up. He's rejecting me for something I didn't do? I should just let him reject me so I am free and able to murder the pack. But I cant. Why?
"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL COLTON?" I shout at him, he tries to talk but I'm not finished. "You are blaming and rejecting me for something I didn't even know about. I have been out here for the past hour hunting rogues and then your sister showed up before I got to make a kill. Pull your freaking head out of your ass, I gave my word I wouldn't touch the pack throughout the month timeframe and I don't go my on my word. Ever. Your such a freaking asshole and I cant believe I gave you so much trust when you gave me none! I have been here literally two days and you have already screwed up, I thought you were actually going to change my mind but no. I now have a permanent decision. I was mad at your pack because of your previous freaked up Alpha who couldn't take care of his own pack, the Alpha who was the cause of my parents death. I though you were different but you are all the same! Go ahead, finish what you were going to say. I don't even care anymore" I am seething with anger, huh, I guess I can let him reject me.
His eyes are filled with sorrow, regret and guilt. And I don't care.
"Please Allison, I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions. It was wrong and I shouldn't have betrayed your given trust. But I cant reject you, not after that. It opened my eyes, your right I am an asshole and I would gladly wear a t-shirt saying it for the rest of my life if only for your forgiveness. I love you." He says with so much sadness and sincerity I almost forgive him. Almost.
"Please, you have known me for two and a half days that is not enough time to fall in love. If you wont reject me fine. It might not actually work but who cares right? Its just a few words. A few words that get my point across. I, Allison, The Marked Assassin reject you, Alpha Colton as my mate and Alpha." With that I turn on my heel and head back towards the house, collect my things and set out into the wood to start planning my revenge on the Blood Moon pack and more importantly.
Their Alpha.
Sorry Cindy, I guess we wont be sparring after training.
A/N
VERY SHORT CHAPTER I KNOW BUT I THOUGHT IT KIND OF NEEDD TO STOP THERE. BEFORE I EVEN STARTED WRITING I AD THE WHOLD THING PLANNED OUT BUT ONCE MY FINGER HIT THE KEYBOARD IT CHANGED COMPLETELY.
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT THIS WAS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN, JUST ALOT FURTHER INTO THE BOOK.
Sadness, my current feeling.
How am I supposed to get them back together?
Will they even get back together?
Ooh, that could make this book less cliché
Nah,
yeah?
nah,
yea,
dunno.
I don't even know! This is a perfect example, even if I plan out what's going to happen in a chapter I wont even know what will happen, its like my fingers have brains of their own.
Watch the colourful language and wash your mouths with soap.
(don't actually its disgusting and can end very badly, trust me I tried)
I am still not manly enough to bring out the big F guns but manned up, actually wommanned up and put one in.
I gift you all with pet kiwi's! Aren't they cute?
My national birdy!
