Alright, I am officially scared shitless. All Ida says is that stupid tale and how she cannot wait for them to come. Whoever 'they' are. What is so amazing about these white wolves anyway?
I run my fingers through my hair stressfully, what is happening to me? I haven't hunted in weeks, scratch that, months and the last time I picked up my bow I couldn't even shoot straight. I open the door slowly but when I see the figure that I have been avoiding like the plague I slam it shut again and lean against it.
"Alright Allison I am getting sick of this shit. I am the Alpha and I am no longer going to be playing the love sick puppy, open the fucking door. Now." Colton's voice booms angrily and I am almost tempted to open the door and hug the life out of him. Almost.'
"Colton do you hear that?" I ask loudly.
"No." He replies, confused.
"It's the sound of me not caring." I reply and I hear a low growl from the other side of the door.
Yeah, we don't care! They are coming to free us! Ida shouts gleefully in my head. My face visibly pales, actually I think it's time to have a chat with my mate. I start to open the door,
"On second thou- ah! What the hell Colton?!" He rams through the doorway and straight into me. When our eyes meet triumph flashes through his eyes, then guilt, then worry and finally confusion.
"Are you alright? What happened? Why did you open the door? Are you still angry with me? Did I hurt you? Ar-" I cut off all of his questions.
"Calm your farm dude, my poor brain can only take so much! Yes, you slammed into me at a supernatural speed. Because I wanted to talk, not really and I'll get over it. I have had worse injuries you know being a hunter of the most dangerous species and all." I rush out.
"Oh thank goodness. Listen Allison I am so sorry for everything I did-" Colton says.
"Colton it's o-" I try.
"No Allison I shouldn't have forcefully marked you and I deserve all your hate-"
"Colton really I-"
"I also should not have blamed that attack on you and I feel really guilty-"
"Colton just liste-"
"I am such a horrible mate and I am surprised you haven't rejected me properly now that you are a werewolf and-"
"COLTON SHUT THE HELL UP!" I yell and he finally listens. Thank the lord! I mean all these apologies and how he feels guilty and how he is a horrible mate and that he is surprised I haven't rejected him now tha-
Wait.
I can reject him?
No, he has marked you. I don't know why he said that. Ida provides helpfully before disappearing on another one of her adventures again. Seriously where does she go? At least she wont be around for what I have to say to my mate.
"Ok Colton there are bigger matters at hand at the moment than your pitiful apologies." I put on my best poker face I have as I say this, and might I just say I have an excellent poker face.
"Oh, wait are you ok? What has been happening?" He gushes.
"I'm fine and I have been having these weird feelings, like someone is watching me and I have recently found out why thanks to my wolf and it is not good." I explain.
"What did she say?" He curiously asks. "Exact words please." I take a deep breath and recite from memory.
"Well, the white wolves of the past make sure it doesn't last,
