(A/N) So this is just going to be a short chapter. I promise next chapter will be back to original size. I think Kat Graham would make a good Jada! Enjoy the chapter duckies. XOXO

Clary's POV:

"Every Institute is the same on the outside but inside everyone has a different design. We like to keep it modern in most rooms. Open windows, even a garden up on the roof. Headmaster likes mundanes so she tries to keep it as normal as possible." Jada explains.

The real world. Something that has changed for me and it will keep on changing as I go on living. I'll train, harder than before, I'll create a new me, someone that the new me won't remember. Someone who will be stronger. "Let's go meet the headmaster." I smiled.

Jada grabbed my hand and pulled me up the stairs and towards the institutes front doors. When we entered the world changed. I was standing in front of a set of marble stairs with a beautiful glass chandelier. The walls were decorated with elegant designs with a hint of gold in every remark. The ceiling flew high above me making the room feel spacious.

We walked up the stairs and done beautiful hallways decorated with black and white paintings of cities from all around the world. Paris, Rome, New York. I was itching to grab my sketch book and draw a light sketching of one of the cities when we were interrupted by a husky male voice. "Who is she?"

I look up to see a tall figure. About the size of Simon but a tad bit taller. He had ginger hair and wore shadowhunter gear. He walked up to Jada, who ran into his arms and embraced him.

"Clary, this is my big brother. Rolland this is Clary, but I like to call her Runaway." She giggled.

Rolland glanced over at me and gave a gentle look. He let go of Jada and walked over to me, the scent of demon blood covered him.

"Clary, huh? Well, welcome to the Institute." He said as he held out his hand for me to shake.

I hesitated but took it. "Nice to meet you Rolland." He said bye to his sister and walked away. Was this how a brother and sister were suppose to act? If I knew that maybe Sebastian and I would have gotten along. You know if he wasn't an evil, psycho, creep, but you know.

We stared at the giant glass doors. It felt as if you walked into an office building and was about to meet the boss. I could see their headmaster sitting at her oak wood desk working on papers.

"Are you ready?" Jada asked.

Nodding, I hesitated to step forward. Jada grabbed my hand, noticing how nervous I was. "You're going to do fine." And then she pushed the door open.

Headmaster Hera. A 32 year old woman who is the most headstrong yet craziest and one of the smartest of the women I've meet. She stood around 5'8 and had a short pixie cut hair. She wore a light pink tank top and skinny jeans with black wedges. This women was maintaining 9 students in one Institute and a member of Clave.

She glanced up from her desk and smiled as Jada and I walked in.
"Hello Clary. The name is Hera." She smiled.

"You- you know my name?" I asked.
She stood up from her desk and walked towards me, giving me what I feel was an awkward greeting hug, but to her a warm welcome.

"Of course I know you! Clary Fairchild, the one and only! Oh, how long I've been wanting to meet you! You're just so cute! Hmm what brings you to Florida's Institute? Tell me everything." She pointed to the chairs in front of her desk and we took a seat along with her.

Jada was quiet and didn't speak while I explained everything but on the other hand Hera made a whole bunch of comments. "Oh dear. Uh huh. Oh. My. God. No way! Uh huh! Uh huh! That jerk!" All throughout my story.

After I finished she allowed me to stay only if I attend Shadowhunter Academy and level up my skills. Agreeing, Jada showed me to my room and then we ate dinner with her 14 year old best friend Tyler and her older brother Rolland. I was informed that other girls were in the Institute but they rather keep to themselves.

The rest of night I stayed up and started to think about the choices I've made but finally after a long night of getting to know the students and unpacking, I fell asleep. Tomorrow was a new day. It's time to live up for it.
