Chapter 3: Remembering our Past

Emiko's POV:

Eventually, me and Haruhi made it to homeroom earlier than usual. Nobody was in class, so we just decided to chill and hangout. It was pretty quiet, so she started to read and I decided that I would just reflect on what has occurred recently.

    I was forced to come to Ouran... I reunited with my childhood friends.. I found out Haruhi was a girl.. Was forced to join a Host Club...and now I'm here...

   So much has happened recently, but some good has come out of it.. I met the Host club...

    Ugghh, but now I have to go host boys.. So bored right now.. Should I go bother Haruhi?? Nah, I'll just get my phone...

So that's what I did. I was checking my social media on my phone, when the Twins came in. I pretended not to notice them coming in and they bought it. They didn't notice this and they sneakily walked over to me and stood behind me. I, of course, notice them in back of me and ignored them. Then in synch, they said," Good morning, Emiko!"

I then turned around and said," Hi, good morning and nice try."

Then they pouted and said,"Awww, didn't we scare you?"

I said," No, not really."

After failing, the Twins just shrugged it off and went over to annoy Haruhi. I just couldn't keep from smiling at their attempt. I turned around and looked at Haruhi, who looked pissed off, but looked at me with pleaded eyes that said,"Help." I sighed.

I said," Hey, Hikaru and Kaoru, leave her alone. She looks so pitiful right now."

Both of them looked at me and smirked. Then they said,"Oh, are you jealous of Haruhi?"

I scoffed and said," No, I'm not. It's just that Haruhi needed help, so leave her alone."

They smiled and left. Haruhi gave me sigh of relief. She then said," Thanks for saving me."

I smiled and said," You're welcome."

A few minutes later, the bell rang and a swarm of students came in and sat down in their seats. The teacher was late again.

Surprisingly, right then one of the Twins, came over to me. It was Kaoru. He was smiling and blushing and sat in his spot next to me.

He then said,"Hey, Emiko, can Hikaru and I talk to you after Host club hours?"

I said,"Yeah sure, why not?"

He let out a sigh of relief and smiled. He looked like he was going to say something else, when the teacher came in.

   Good timing teacher... The sarcasm is obvious...

The teacher said,"Ok, students let's start our class this morning. Now everyone shut up and sit down."

Everyone quickly sat down and I looked forward. Afterwards, the teacher started lecturing the class on the book we were supposed to read.

The class was getting more boring by the minute and so was I. Luckily, Kaoru noticed this and passed me a note.

      The note read: 'Hey boring class, right? Don't you think that the teacher should just shut up on those problems?'
