Chapter 5: Learning About Our Past

Emiko POV:

  I continued crying, even though the scenario already finished. My tears just kept on coming. Kaoru stepped away from the hosts, who were beating up Quinn, and came towards me. He hugged me and told me comforting and soothing words that were able to calm me down. We just kept on hugging and I kept on saying thanks for rescuing me from Quinn. From behind me, I think, I felt heavy daggers or glares pointed towards Kaoru, which was also weird. Once we stopped hugging, we looked into each others' eyes and we blushed, like a lot.  

I immediately felt a blush coming on. I had just woken up and was having a flashback of what had happened during my disastrous date on Friday. I knew that the Hosts were the ones to save me and I was happy. But, every time I thought of those events, my heart wouldn't stop beating rapidly. However, I only almost had a heart attack when I thought of Kaoru Hitachiin.

       Could this feeling be love?? Naw, I only just met him, I just can't like him that way... That's kinda weird....

      Anyways, I brushed all my flustered feelings aside and got up from my bed. It was Monday morning and there was school. Luckily, I had woken up earlier than usual because of my hormonal emotions and was ready on time. I had decided to go with my usual uniform, my Mary Janes, and put my hair in a half-pony tail. I went downstairs to the kitchen and ate some french toast and strawberries for breakfast. After breakfast, I raced to the door and got in my limo. Then, I was on my way to school.

Over the weekend, me and Hikaru decided that we needed to do something drastic, despite the consequences. We both wanted to speak to Emiko about our past, even though it could be the wrong Emiko. But, it's worth taking a shot.

    Plus, if I were to become her best friend I could get even closer to her than she is now and win this love competition... Kyouya can't win..

Anyways, our plan was to put an anonymous letter in Emiko's locker and ask her to meet us at the Rose Garden after host club hours. It might be risky, but I hope that she accepts and comes to talk to us. We're both curious as to why she left us in Japan. I hope that this plan works.

                                                                  Back to Emiko POV:

I got to school on time and went directly to my locker. I put in the code and opened it. Once I did, a pink envelope with a rose stamp sealing the letter fell on the floor. I got my books and picked it up from the floor. It was a pretty envelope and it seemed that it was directed for me.

At first, I thought it was a love note from one of my classmates and was nervous to open it. So I decided to open it once and for all. The note read:

     ' Dear Emiko, I hope you are able to receive this message. After  your Host club hours, meet me in the rose garden on the north side of campus. don't worry, it's nothing bad I just want to talk to you.'

I was surprised to say the least. But I do have to wonder, what's going to happen after school?
