"The light in her eyes shone with the sky,

She ran her fingers through her hair,

Her make up running down her tear stained cheeks.

She sucked in her stomach,

Stuck out her breast,

And smiled to herself.

"It's official,babe."said Claudia, Alexis best friend.

Claudia was a petite with long lush auburn curls that stop mid back. She had almond shaped eyes with a center of baby blue. Her eyes back lashed against her pale skin.

"What's official?" Alexis said.

"I'm pregnant!"

"What the fuck?"

"Is that all your going to say?"

"What the fuck am I suppose to say to that?"

"We'll I don't know. Maybe something like "OH MY GOD!" "YAY.IM GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE!'"

"Well, okay."

"Oh my god. You're the worst person to play a prank like that on"

"Claudia that wasn't a joke!"

"Yeah I know. It was a prank."

"No freaking difference."

"Yes there is."

" No there isn't." Claudia insisted. Her jaw was clench. She had a bit of temperamental issues.

"Ok, whatever you say." Alexis said with an eye roll.

It's been 14 hours after the event. Alexis was so stressed out about what that scent was. She knew it was her mate but it was like any other wolf scent. For a moment in time, she thought it was a human scent.

Just the mere thought of her mate, turned her on. She groaned at the thought of them just mating.

"EW, you got a 'I'm so close to an orgasm.' look."

"Claudia?"

"Yeah?"

"Shut the fuck up."

In that exact moment her father walked in. Her eyes widen at the site behind him.

Alpha Daniel.

"Father, Alpha Daniel, what a pleasant surprise." Alexis said with confusion hinted in her voice.

"Ah, the beautiful Alexis Rutger, meet with you again."

"Uh, you too."

"I'm glad that you think so, Alexis." Her father boomed.

"Why do you say that?" She already knew why. Her nightmare came true.

"Since you haven't met your mate last night, I've chosen the perfect candidate for you,sweetheart. Alpha Daniel."

The son of bitch grinned at me. He knew it was going to happen all along.

Claudia's mouth hit the floor. The surprise in her voice wasn't disguised when she said,

"What the fuck?"

"Claudia." My father snapped at her.

"Lexi, come out with me to the garden. We can discuss marriage plans and how many pups we are going to have." Daniel said with a huge grinned.

"You son of a-"

"ALEXIS" Her father boomed.

What was she going to do now?

"Come, Lexi." Alpha Daniel said reaching for her hand.

Before she could say anything he was dragging her away.

"Why are you doing this to me,Daniel?" She whispered.

"Doing what?" Acting so innocently. Bastard.

"You know damn well. Why would you say yes to this?"

"Maybe it's because you're a beautiful wolf, who I see my future with. Maybe it's cause you look just my mate, Amelia."

"Alexander."

"Yes, master?"

"I have an assignment for you." The devil himself spoke.

The evil eyed creature had long scaly skin, his tongue was spilt into two symmetrical parts. His basket ball eyes were pure red and if angry, they were black.

His head was shaped as a football. One side of the head was lumpy,while the other was sagging downward. He wasn't a pretty site.

"Master, what is my assignment?"

"There is a wolf, I would love to meet. Would you mind bringing him here for me?"

Alexander's ears perked at the mention of a wolf. He instantly thought he was beloved, Alexis. Oh how much he yearned to see her.

She had no clue of who he was aching his heart. He never these strong emotions for anyone.

"His name is Alpha Daniel from Eastwood pack. He's getting married to a young wolf named Alexis Rutger."

His inanimate heart sank at the mention of the name of his woman and married in the same sentence.

"Bring them both in. I wanted to see how much blood will spill from them after I speak to them."
