“when I first laid eyes, I swear my heart stopped. It was like I was floating on a cloud. I knew you were the one within that moment of time.”

The Meeting Part 1

Alexander was  in shocked.

He wanted what was his.

Why?

He didn’t know. His mate wasn’t anything unusual. She was unique. Stunning .Why wouldn’t he want her?

Was it her beauty? Was it her “marriage”?

It angered him.

The thought of what was his, marrying another.  Alexander felt a wave of rage hit him. Hard.

He wanted blood. That dog’s blood.

Alexis and Daniel walked towards the garden. Alexis honestly didn’t know what to feel at the moment. Her father just gave her away to the stranger she has to spend the rest of her life with. The worst part:

She smelled her mate out there in woods the night of the ball. Just knowing that made her upset.

Her mate.

He was out there. He was close to her that night. He just had to smell her scent too. He just had too.

He just disappeared in the night. As if she wasn’t worth his time. She felt herself tear up.

He had to smell my scent. Why didn’t he come towards me? She thought.

“Alexis, are you alright?” Alpha Daniel spoke.

“Oh yeah, I’m fine.” She lied. She quickly collected herself together and decided not to think about her mate.

You can’t just not think about him. Her wolf spoke for the first time.

I have too. She replied

“Are you sure?” Daniel said with uncertainty.

“Yeah. I’m fine, don’t worry.” She said with annoyance.

“Alright then.”

“Now, tell me about this mate of yours.” She said.

Daniel beamed.

The thought of his precious Annabelle, made that moment a whole lot better. Yes, she was gone but he  cherished those memories of her.

Those adventures they shared at Easton, when Daniel had to attend an Alpha meeting with the other Alphas.

Those times he just came home early to find her lounging around in his shirts.

“You look just like her. Same eyes, hair, heart-shaped face, and that smile. Oh that smile, defiantly.” He said with a grin.

“She was…no words come close to describing her. She was just..Incredibly. Sometimes, I’d wonder why fate gave her to me. She shouldn’t have been with me.” He said with a sad smile.

“Did you only agree to this arrangement because of our physical similaries?” Alexis said with a sneer.

“Of course.” He said with no shame.

“Why you little-“

“Hey now. I’m not done. Lexis, you’re stunning. There’s just something about you that my wolf desire. We want you. You look liking Annabelle was just a boast.” He said. He brushed the back of his hand against her face.  He smiled at her. His eyes meeting that smile.

Oh. Well, I didn’t know.

Of course you didn’t. You don’t listen to anyone, besides your father. Her wolf said.

Her father.

Oh how much she hate she had for him at the moment. She knew it was important for her to mate by full moon.  But why couldn’t he just given her another extra month to find her mate. She was so sure that she could find him by then.

Her mate was everything to her.

He was her place of peace and joy.  He would take away the pain and add the pleasure. Yes, they will struggle. But he could never hurt intentionally. She just knew it.

~

Alexander watched them.

He watched as the dog grabbed his mates hand.

He watched as he laid his hands on her face.

Alexander was so close to storming over there and ripping that piece of shit’s heart out.

Comparing her to his decease mate? What low life son of a bitch did that?

He was going to her tonight. He was going to claim her. Protect her.

~

Alexis smelled him again.

Oh my god, he’s here. She thought.

Where? Where is he?

Alexis looked around frantically. She looked out into the woods.

She took off towards them.

She had to see him. Meet him.

She ran fast as she can in her human form. She stopped.

Someone was breathing behind her.

“Hello.”  He said with curious eyes.

Alexis could have sworn she felt her heart stop. She turned around and saw him.

He was absolutely gorgeous.

Oh my.

Those eyes, pale blue. That face. Those pink lips. His pale skin against his dark hair.

Her eyes continued to trail downwards towards the lower half of his body

She could tell underneath that shirt he was ripped. The bulges against his shirt. Those muscles wanting to burst out of that shirt.

Hi.” She replied shyly at him.

“I’m Alexander.”

“Uh- Lexis. Alexis. I’m Alexis.” She stuttered.

“Beautiful.” He saw his deep blue eyes go dark.

She felt her cheecks and neck burn up at the compliment.

Alexander and Alexis stood there, just starring at each other. They were so lost in their emotions for each other that they nearly did hear Alpha Daniel calling her name and approaching them.

Alexander turned in the direction the voice came from and sneered. He immidently grabbed Alexis’s hand and took off with her. His hold her hand was tight but she didn’t mind. She was just staring at him. So many thoughts rushing through her head.  She had images of him and her at their wedding/mating ceremony, them with small pups, them growing old together. Oh, she could just feel it.

Alexis didn’t even notice that Alexander had picked her up and was running with her in his arms, until she felt a bug fly into her mouth. She looked about Alexander and saw that his face was hard. His jaw was clenched .

She finally noticed the speed he was running at.

And it was most defiantly not werewolf speed.

It was much faster.
