Crossing Worlds

Ash's POV

I was walking down the forest trail in Santalune Forest to visit Laura. I haven't seen her in the past few weeks, I wonder what happened. She said right after her returns to Vaniville Town for a week, she'll meet me in Lumious City, but she never appeared. I walked along the trail with my favorite Pokemon partner, Pikachu. We've been on a long Pokemon journey throughout the 6 main regions in the Pokemon world. We've both been through tough times went trying to save the world from Team Rocket and other bad guys. They always trying to steal Pikachu, but my friends and I always find a way to get him back and defeat Team Rocket, even though they never take a hit.

I saw a bright light ahead of me, signifying that I was reaching the end of the forest. Pikachu jumped off my shoulders and began to run beside me while heading to Laura's house. On my way to her house, I heard a girlish voice call my name. Serena.

"Hey Ashie!" She called to get my attention.

"Uh hey Serena. What are you doing, are you supposed to be in Dendemille Town doing some Pokemon Performer Contest with Braixen and Pancham?" I asked unsurely.

"Yeah, but I decided not to so I went to Prism Tower and met up with Clement and Bonnie for a few days then came back to see my mom. Anyways, what are you doing here? Wait! Before you say anything, you have come here to see me, haven't you." Serena said cheerfully.

"Uh no, I just was wondering where Laura is. Have you seen her?" I questioned.

"No. Plus I don't think you should hang out with her, maybe me instead." She replied then put her arm around me, making me feel uncomfortable.

"I uh, have to go so um bye." I said nervously. "Say bye Pikachu."

"Pikachu!"

I slipped past her arm that was around my neck then I walked towards Laura's house. I walked up a small hill, at top was her house. I turned my head towards Serena and squinted my eyes to see her more clearly. She was still looking at me so I quickly turned my head before anything awkward happened, like it didn't already. I stepped on her little porch then rang the doorbell. Her mom rapidly opened the door.

"Laur- no, it's just you Ash." She said sadly.

"Is everything okay?" I asked curiously.

"It's just Laura said she'd come back a month ago, but she never came. Do you have any idea where she is?"

I was astonished by what she had told me. Laura never came back? Maybe she went to some other town or she got lost. I shook my head. I also haven't seen her in a month.

"Oh no, where could she be. I'm so worried about her, I hope she's okay, not harmed at all." Laura's mother panicked.

"Hold on, let me help find her. I also haven't seen her in a month so maybe Pikachu and I could go around Kalos and help get her back home safely." I reassured.

"Oh thank you Ash!" Her mom thanked and pulled me into a hug, along with Pikachu. She let me free and I waved goodbye to her.

I walked away from her house then back into the woods. Pikachu and I have to find Laura! For her mom and for myself! But wherever she is, I hope she's okay.

Okay okay, you guys can kill me now. I know, I haven't been active with this book, but the reason is that I'm really busy and I also have other fanfictions too. But I promise I'll update more frequently and not have you guys wait for like ten years or something. I don't procrastinate ever! Just please forgive me and I promise I will start writing the next chapter really soon! Oh and sorry if the chapter was short, I didn't mean to do that, but couldn't think of anything and don't call me lazy for that. Anyways, stay tuned for the next chapter of Crossing Worlds!
