The train ride to Hogwarts with the twins turned out to be very eventful. The boys fought for your attention, trying to out-do each other.
"I was born three minutes earlier!" One shouted.
"Well, I'm taller!" One replied back.
This went on for the entire ride, but at least you had learned more about the two. It was nice that you had already made friends. You thought you'd be completely alone, but as the year progressed, you learned that that was definitely not the case.
Soon enough, you had become best friends with the two, going everywhere with them. They had been helping you overcome your anxiety, come out of your shell, and make new friends. You never felt like a third wheel, even though you really were.
You had noticed that Fred seemed to attach himself to you, and everywhere you turned, he was right beside you. Of course, George was always there as well, Fred just stood out more. He seemed to present himself more to you, allowing you to learn more about him, occasionally sneaking out with you in the middle of the night without George just so the two of you could talk.
You really enjoyed this, it made you feel like someone actually cared, and he did care. Fred cared greatly for you, almost as much as he cared for George.
You loved the twins. They were amazing towards you and never failed to light up your day.
After discovering your past, they started staying even closer to you, checking up on you constantly, making sure that everything was okay.
One night, when you and Fred snuck off, you had a very detailed and eventful conversation, with one thing leading to the next.
"Y/n, I was thinking, and I know you might not want to talk about it, but I want to let you know how sorry I am for everything that has happened to you." Fred spoke softly, gently resting his large hand against your forearm.
You nodded slightly, glancing over at him. "Thank you, Fred. It does mean a lot. I'm so happy that git pushed me into your compartment that day. You and George have made my life so much better. I have no idea where I'd be without the two of you, honestly."
He nodded in response, gently placing his hand over yours, looking at you slightly as his lips curled up in a small smile.
"What?.." You asked softly, your breath hitching in your throat as he leaned towards you, pressing a small kiss against the end of your nose, resulting in your cheeks turning dark red.
Laughing softly, he let go of your hand before quickly wrapping his arms around your smaller frame, pulling your petite body up against his, hugging you closely to him, whispering softly against your ear, "You're so cute!"
Returning the hug, you shook your head, nuzzling your face in his chest as he kissed the top of your head.
Glancing up at him, the question that's been bugging you since the very first day on the train popped up in your head. "Fred, what were you and George whispering about on the train when i first met you?"
"Oh.." His cheeks turned a rosy red as he darted his eyes away from yours, lacing his own fingers together behind you, resting them of the small of your back, "We predicted that you and I would end up together. But I haven't proven that to be true yet, have I?" He huffed slightly, looking back down at you. "Do you think we could make that theory come true?" He asked hopefully, a wide grin appearing on his face and you stood up on your tiptoes, placing a gentle kiss against his lips.
"I think it's a strong theory, and there's great evidence to prove it to be true, we just need to clarify once and for all that it is, indeed, true."
"Well, in that case, let's prove it to be true. Y/n, will you do me the great honor of being my amazingly adorable girlfriend?" He looked down at you expectantly, smiling brightly.
"Of course, Fred Weasley." You gushed, placing another kiss amongst his lips.
