Chapter 23

After Ashley checked out Chris took her out for some lunch at Hams. They sat and talked for hours about what she planned to do for her birthday in November, which was one month away.

Ashley loved the vibe she got from Chris. She didn't want to over think things between them because he did just insult her yesterday.

"Will it be one bill or two"? The waiter asked.

"One...Two" they both said at the same time.

"It will be one" Chris said laughing.

"Okay I'll be right back" the waiter said before walking away.

"You know I wouldn't take you out to lunch and make you pay" Chris laughed.

"We've never been out to lunch together so I wouldn't know" Ashley laughed.

5 minutes later the waiter came back, they paid for their food and were on their way.

Chris dropped Ashley off at the dorm and told her be would see her later.

Ashley wasn't ready to tell Britt and Tasha why she was hanging out with Chris but she knew she had to eventually.

Mikes POV

Can't believe that bitch listening to her friends about me like they know me. Then I have to check that bitch Monique....I've never liked a bitch that ran her mouth about some dick.

Then this nigga Chris out running around with these bitches and he's suppose to be my nigga.

Chris called Mike and told him he was pulling up.

"What's good bro" Chris said dapping Mike up.

"You tell me, you the one who ran off with the bitches" Mike said.

"Chill out... it was an emergency and they needed to go to the hospital".

"What type of emergency"? Mike said raising his eyebrows.

"You know Britt friend Ashley? Well I fucked her one night unprotected and it turns out she got pregnant. She overheard Monique bullshit and took some abortion pills she got from the doctor. She killed my seed bro" Chris said hanging his head.

As much as Chris tried to put it behind him he couldn't. That was his first child and in his mind it was his son.

"Damn man....I'm sorry" Mike said seeing how much his boy was hurting.

"So how are you and shorty"?

"Man we're straight. I took her out for some lunch, but I don't trust her after that shit she pulled with my seed" Chris said.

Mike could sense revenge in Chris's voice. He hadn't seen Chris this way since his younger brother was killed by a group of kids.

So Mike knew he needed to let the whole situation go and let Chris know he was going to be there for him at all costs.

"Thanks bro" they dapped up and smoked a couple blunts.

Britt's POV

How could Mike do some shit like that? I trusted him. He told me he loved me and everything.

I never thought about fucking someone else even though we're not together. I guess that just goes to show how dudes really are. As long as they get what they want, they don't give a Damn about you.

"So what was Chris doing bringing you clothes"? Tasha asked Ashley while they were eating in the cafe.

"Well he came by yesterday night and we talked about everything. He forgave me and I guess you could say we're getting to know each other" Ashley said smiling.

"That's great! I'm glad to hear that. He didn't deserve to dog you out like that anyways" Tasha said rolling her eyes.

"You're absolutely right. But we're good now and there are no hard feelings. Plus I think he likes me" Ashley said blushing.

"Aww, my bitch has a crush" they both laughed.

"If you're happy I'm happy. One thing you have to remember is never let anyone take your happiness" Tasha said hugging her.

After they talked a few minutes longer they both headed back to their rooms.
