So this chapter is based on the season ten finale, sorry there might be some indirect spoilers!

"Dean we can't give up! We'll find it we just have to look at little longer!" You yell at Dean,
"Y/N I'm done! You need to give up!",
"Never!", Dean had been trying to get you to give up on trying to find the cure to the mark. All of you had been looking for it for months on end, and still never found anything. You walked over to Dean, "We're so close! We can't just stop now!",
"Y/N you know you're lying and I'm done and I'm leaving!" He yells, you walk over to him and put you hand on his arm,
"Dean I-" you were cut off by Dean grabbing you by the waist and slamming you hard into the library bookcases,
"Dean what a-" your cut off again by Dean throwing you back across the table.
"I said I'm done!" He yells, uou cough up blood and you feel a throbbing in your back and head. You lay on the ground, in too much pain to get back up. Dean circles around the table, a cold mask over his usual face.
"Dean-" you cough, "this isn't- this isn't you" you say. Dean doesn't stop walking, he reaches you, grabs you by your shirts collar and yanks you up so your back is arched. He then punches you with full force square in the face. Your face erupted in fire. You could feel the blood dripping from your nose and it pooling in your mouth,
"Dean" you whisper, the blood spilling out your lips, "Dean." You say again. He looks down at you, no emotion on his face. He pulls his arm back, preparing for another punch. You reach you're arm up and and clutch is wrist, "Dean, please" you sniffle back a sob.
Finally you see a flash of emotion across his face. You've seen Deans facial expressions change as his mood changes before, you knew his expressions, but this was one you hadn't seen before. You realized why, it was because Dean never let anyone see this face. The expression he made when he was broken. All the pain, sadness, anger, all mixed together in one. It was heartbreaking.
He never breaks eye contact with as he slowly lowers his raised arm. You breath out a sigh of relief. He looks at you in horror, realizing what he just did. All of a sudden he lets go of his grip on your collar and you fall to the floor, banging the back of your head once again. The pain was intense, but you refused to let it take over. You watched as he almost ran out of the room, before he left the door he looked back at you,
"Don't you dare follow me."
That made you realize exactly how badly Dean Winchester was broken. But you were determined to save him, no matter the cost.
The pain and throbbing in your head was just getting worse, so you finally closed your eyes and passed out.
