I have to say if you enjoy distopian worlds with kick ass leading characters you'll love this. It's all about a world where vampires have finally came out of the shadows, controlling cities. The world has gone through a horrible pleage that turned humans into rabids. These rabids are killed and rip humans to shreads. Through the three book trilogy you follow the main character turned vampire as she tries to find the "nervona" per say of the human world to help a group of human settlers she found in her travels. Julie Kagawa does an amazing job transporting you into Ally, the main characters, shoes. She fights great enimeas and finds family she ne we thought she'd get. There are some down in the fact you can never get to close to a character when even with in the first three chapters your main character is ripped to shreads and they kill off a new person almost every chapter. Every character had a sarcastic undertone and the story never truly gets to a point where your happy until the end. Although by the end of the series it's one of the few books I can say I was pleased with in the end. Immortal rules is a set of three books in the blood of Eden series that can't go unread.
