This story follows an half angle named Violet and her soul mate Lincoln as they run through cliche troubles that seem to stack together throughout each book creating an elongated plots pulled out through five books. I thought I was done by three but the other two were almost forced apon as the last grew end in cliff hangers to insure you read the next. The lore of the book follows closely to the lore of a werewolf although in these books the species doesn't exists nor will they ever. The main protagonist follows a cliche path of finding out she's not human and is acually the most powerful being and the only one who can save the world. Her name playing a big part in the story as her power matches it. Lincon, her partner and soul mate, works along her as they try to juggle the whole fate of the world in there teenage hands. It takes until the end of the fifth book for both the protesters to put aside there stupid exuses and get together even though their soul mates. The main character Violet constently tries to get herself killed throughout the books claiming she's "not good enough" to be lincolns partner even through her angle maker is literally God and she's the most powerful person on earth and in the angelic realm. By the time I ended the fifth book is was so read to forget the series it was sad. Although the action is interesting and the romance is just enough to make any romance loved happy this series would definitely be on my not to read list.
