Love has always been far for the two us.

There’s no point in moving forward.

We tried but it’s just right.

we fight, but we got tired.

Why am I always left here trying to stay,

And you, so far away?

But we’re both a long way from home

We got the windows down, the radio’s on, always

Song’s playing on and on,

I’m waiting for you on the phone.

Hoping to know what’s going on.

Hope keeps me from being alone.

I wrote a letter to the sky saying,

 maybe one day you’ll get to kiss me.

I’m wishing with all my heart that one day,

You’ll choose me.

Hoping that we’ll build a home,

A family where love grows.

Open windows and slow songs.

I’m not just in it for the ride,

Because we’re worth the fight.

But we’re both a long way from home

We got the windows down,

the radio’s on.

The battles done, all hopes low.

I wrote a letter to the wondering if you’ll ever be here..

And here we are, chasing after love and life.
