Part 7: Some realizations

I woke up and Jetrix’s gone.

I don’t know where he is.

I looked for him.

In the bathroom, the kitchen and even in the storage room. And there, I found him.

He’s in the backyard, paiting something beautiful.

I know his work will be beautiful. Lagi naman maganda ang works nya.

To tell you the truth, I’m his biggest fan. I’m not so fond of art pero pagdating sa art nya, nai-impress ako. He captures the real essence of art. How every simple things can be seen as magnificent, how he makes small details count.

I sometimes wish I could paint and draw like him.

Di bale, I can cook! And that’s my skill to brag with. Hihi

He stopped painting and turned back to look at me. And that’s when the magic happen.

He smiled at me, not like the ones he gave me before..But it is something else.

It is something that I know I meant for me, and I know it’s from his heart. I can feel it. I smiled back.

“Good morning gorgeous.” He said.

Am I insane? MAY HANGOVER PA YATA AKO SA NAKAW KONG HALIK.

“Are you sick?” I asked.

I know it isn’t the right thing to say after the smile he generously gave me, pero nakakapanibago eh. Nasan na yung Jetrix na masungit sa umaga?

“what are you talking about? I’m fine! Never better!” He said. then he smile and stopped painting. He covered it up with some cloth. Looks like he doesn’t want me to see it.

NAKO! Siguro portrait nanaman ni anncel yun.

“I prepared lunch, kain ka na.” I said.

“Let’s eat together.” He said.

AND NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, he’s being too nice to me.

WEIRD

It’s weird, but I love this weirdness.

Naaalala ko kagabi na sinabi ko na isang araw, pag-gising nya, mahal nya na rin ako. Ito na ba yung araw na yun?

We went inside and we started eating our lunch.

“Hmmm!! Sarap mo talaga mag luto tubby!” He said.

There goes the nickname tubby again.. but from him, it sounds cute

“salamat!!” I said happily. Ang sarap pala ng feelng pag naaapreciate ng mahal mo ang niluto mo. Ang saya dre.

This is a very fine morning.

He wouldn’t shut up on how tasty our lunch have been. He even said he’s looking forward for dinner.

I was preparing some pastry,and I need ingredients for tonight’s dinner. kulang ang ingredients. Jetrix is on the living room watching tv.

“Jetrix?”

“yes tubby?” he said.

Come on! Seriously? Think of another nickname please.

“can you get some groceries?” I know, it’s not possible to send him out.

“ok.” He said. That was fast. Thank you!!!!

“Here! Please be careful. At wag ka na dumaan dun sa slums ah!! Baka makigulo ka nanaman..” I said. baka kasi masaktan sya ulit pag sa shortcut pa sya dumaan. Knowing Jetrix, he can be really stubborn at times.
