Part 2: Failed Attempt

Pagbaba namin ng plane,

I initiated my move.

Hindi pa tapos ang lahat. At hindi lang si Anncel ang babae sa mundo.

I might get lucky on love here sa LA. Who can tell the future? I grabbed my stuff and while zandra is talking to a security guard asking for directions, I went on my way out.

I remembered this place.

LA was my home remember.

I went to my only friend here: Darren.

Well Darren is the complete opposite of me. He’s a super genius/neat freak and he would be shocked to see me.

As I watch at the tall buildings fade away from my sight, I reached Darren’s House. 

Akala ko, si Darren ang magugulat. . .

Mali pala.

Kasi ako ang nagulat.

Zandra’s standing next to Darren and gave me a big grin.

“Hello Jetrix!”

“What are you doing here?” I asked her

“the questions is, What are YOU doing here.” She said.

“Mali kayng dalawa eh. Ang tanong, WHAT ARE THE TWO OF YOU DOING HERE?” 

sabay tingin samin ni Darren. Gulong gulo sya. He didn’t know that I was bound to marry this lady standing next to him.

“Sorry for the inconvenience that we’ve caused you Darren, but we must now leave.” Sabi ni Zandra

“Sinong nagsabing sasama ako?” I said.

“Sila.” Then 2 guys, who worked for my dad carried me like I was just a plastic bag. They dropped me inside the car and Zandra hopped inside next.

“Kung anong plano man ang naisip mo, naisip ko na Jetrix.” Sabay kindat sakin.

She’s one smart girl, I have to admit. Pero nakaka loko na ang babaeng ito eh. Ang hirap takas an. Para bang ang buhay ko, naitali sa kanya. School mates, business meetings, social gatherings, name them all. Lagi at lagi kaming magkikita. Para bang madkadugtong kaming dalawa.

I stayed silent and did not do anything. I just stared blankly sa langit. Lord? Ano ba talagang balak mo sakin? 

Zandra

I know Jetrix will dart off once nakababa na kami.

Time to cook up a plan. He’s not gonna go anywhere but with me.

Jusko, I sounded like an obsessed heroine in a love story.

Jeez. I just want the wedding to be okay and over. Para masaya ang parents namin pati ako. Kaso si Jetrix, pano?  Maging masaya din kaya sya gaya ko? Alam ko naming hindi nya ako mahal eh. Pero umaasa ako na matututunan nya rin yun habang tumatagal..

Kaya kaya nya?

O sadyang natanga lang talaga ako sa kanya? Sa totoo lang, guys would kill just to trade places with him right now. Ang dami na ring lalaking nabigo dahil sa ang mahal ko ay si Jetrix. I know he’ll go to Darren’s place, pero pano ko sya pasasamahin sakin?

I called his dad.

“Hello, tito Edward..Can you send me two of your guards?”

“sige, just wait for them.”

Paglingon ko, my expectations were all right.

Jetrix left.

At kailangn ko sya unahan kiila Darren. I arrived there but he’s not there. Just as when I was about to leave, a knock shacked the door. I was the one to open it and I saw the guy I was looking for. Kala mo ha?! 

“Hello Jetrix!” I said, with the most dashing smile I can give. As if naman ma in love sya sa smile ko. T.T 

“What are you doing here?” He asked me. Aba teka, sino ba biglang nawala??

“the questions is, What are YOU doing here.” I said

“Mali kayang dalawa eh. Ang tanong, WHAT ARE THE TWO OF YOU DOING HERE?” He said.  I know we confused him. ‘cause we just barged in his house for no reason.

 “Sorry for the inconvenience that we’ve caused you Darren, but we must now leave.” I said while trying to pull jetrix through his wrist

“Sinong nagsabing sasama ako?”He said

“Sila.” Good thing I have back up! :DD

“Kung anong plano man ang naisip mo, naisip ko na Jetrix.” Then I winked at him.

 I wont let you go that easily. Minsan nalang nga kita mahuli sa laraong nilalaro nating dalawa for 2 years, tapos pakakawaln lang kta? Not a chance dear. I wont let you win this time. This time, it's all about me. All about us. I know you'll love me eventually.

The wedding would be in two weeks and nothing can spoil that. I’ll have my best beauty rest ever!
