"Mom don't you just love Ariel, the little mermaid! I can't wait to watch part two! Because, definitely, the story has to continue. What happened to Ariel and her prince? I know Disney usually leaves it at the girl finding her prince and they live 'happily ever after' but c'mon! They have to make a difference this time! What happened to Sebastien and Flounder? I wanna know!" Sarah babbled to her mom who just smiled and nodded. Sarah's mom, Tasha, learned that whenever Sarah is in the 'mood', the world is the colours of rainbows and nothing she says makes sense to her nine year old daughter and vice versa so the easiest answer was to smile and nod.
"Honey, I'm home!" Sarah's dad, Bob, called as he entered the house, late from work, "I know what you're gonna say but I'm really sorry. We were signing up a deal on the contract that I won and we're gonna be moving in the next few weeks to Los Angeles! I know, Texas is your home and all that but this is the opportunity of a lifetime! Please say yes!"
"Shut up you big bag of you and kiss me" Tasha ordered, "I'm really happy for you! We get to see lil' ole LA! Ain't that good sweetheart?" She asked Sarah
From the moment her father mentioned 'moving', Sarah's world of rainbows began diminishing until reality set in. She really loved Texas and if she ever left, she feared that she would lose everything. She believed that Texas was the only state that could hold her heart so when her mother asked her the question, she burst into tears and ran upstairs to her room.
Hello guys! Ha u doin? So the question on my mind right now is what do you think? I was watching Teen Beach Movie and something Mac said got me thinking, 'why don't I write a mermaid story?' So being the typical Nigerian that I am, I answered my question with another question, ' what's stopping me?' So I started. At first, I chose Under The Sea to be the title but I saw that was already taken by a lot of people so I changed it. Hope you love it as the story builds up.
