Chapter 1 - It doesn't make sense
Chloe's P.O.V
I lay awake, just thinking. Why was it that i looked nothing like my mum or dad? Why did i have a slight American accent when My parents are Australian? nothing was making sense. I grabbed my ipod and started blasting taylor swift through my earphones. Her music was the only thing keeping me here. It was the night before my 13th birthday. I know i should be happy about my birthday being tomorrow but i couldn't help but feel that something bad was about to happen.
"Happy Birthday Chloe!" my parents burst through the doors of my bedroom holding presents and a plate full of chocolate chip pancakes. "Thank you" i said groggily while rubbing my eyes. My mum comes and sits down and gives me an envolope her face suddenly turning serious. "What's this?" I ask, but right then I wish I hadn't.
