Chapter 11

Taylor’s P.O.V

When we got up in the morning Austin had left already to make his first class at college. I walked quietly into my old room where Chloe was sleeping. I wanted to speak to her about last night.  I was still really tired; I couldn’t sleep last night, so I stayed up watching law and order. Not one of my best ideas. I gently moved a bit of hair out of Chloe’s face.

“Chloe?”

“Hmmm” she said rolling over and rubbing her eyes.

“Can we talk?” She nodded and I got under the covers and began talking.

“I really meant well by telling Mum and Dad. Chloe you have a serious problem I don’t want to lose you! I love you so much, you’re my baby sister.” Chloe buried her face into my pyjama shirt while she hugged me.

“Taylor, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to run away I just I was angry and I-I didn’t know what to do. I love you too Tay.” She said.

“I know you do. Now I have something for you.”

Chloe’s P.O.V

I took the piece of paper from Taylor, it said:

Chloe’s Daily reminders.

1)     Never compare myself to other people. It is comparing my behind the scenes to their highlight reel.

2)     Stay here, now. I will not think too far forward or back.

3)     It’s okay to not be fine.

4)     Taylor needs me so I’m going to take care of myself.

“Chlo, this is what you need to keep reminding yourself every day, Okay? You’re amazing” I shot her a grateful smile as we went in for yet another hug. She doesn’t lie when she said that she loves hugs.

“Thank you Taylor” I said while getting up out of bed and putting the paper on my nightstand where I could see it as soon as I woke up and before I go to sleep. I think this is really going to help me. I mean this is going to be no easy task but having loving supporting people around me sure makes it easier.

“Hey do you want to go out today? Just Mum, you and I. Since Dads at work, Austin’s at college and I have a day off why don’t we have a girls day out?” Taylor suggested.

“Yeah! Can we?”

“Of course but first we need to go to somewhere that sells coffee. Mum doesn’t have any and I need my morning coffee” I burst out laughing.

“Of course you do Tay. I actually have never tasted coffee.”

“Like you’ve never even TRIED it?! I’m judging you.”

“Taylor I’m only 13”

“Still you could have been like oh look I’m just gonna – hdsjfhkjsh- I tried it now.”

“You are so weird”

“You know you love me”  

“Yeah, Yeah Tay”

We laughed again as she ruffled my hair so if was even worse than it was already. Taylor got up as did I and we walked down stairs to where Mum had made pancakes. Taylor and Mum started chatting about our “girl’s day” as we sat down to eat. Eat just that one word makes me squirm. I looked at the plate in front of me with two berry pancakes on it.

“Chloe just eat as much as you can. Remember that Taylor and I believe in you.” Mum said.

 I looked down at my plate again. I picked up my fork and stabbed a bit of pancake and brought it up to my mouth. I’m doing this for my family. I slowly chewed it and swallowed it. I can do this.

Half an hour later and I’d only eaten half of a pancake.

“It’s ok Honey you did well” Mum said and took away my plate. Now I just have to keep this down.  

We had decided to go shopping this morning and per Taylor’s request, back to her apartment in the afternoon to bake. I went upstairs to get dressed and pee I really need to pee. As I went into the bathroom to pee and shower, it was so hard, the toilet was right there I could just throw everything back up. No, Chloe stay strong for your family. Then again they would like you better if you were skinnier. It was like a game of ping pong in my head.

“I’m sorry Taylor......”

So I updated a week earlier than I said I would. I just got like a really big urge to write. I know what's going to  happen in the next chapter so it hopefully wont be long. It will be sort of a filler/happy chapter no real drama or anything.
