You were basically living for the weekend. Your boyfriend was so busy with work and you two planned on meeting this weekend. He constantly told you that he would spend the entire weekend with you. You were excited but you still had to deal with getting through the stressful week.
When you got home from work, your phone rang. It rang just before you were able to settle down. You answered it with a slight sigh due to your exhaustion. "Hello?" You mumbled to the phone as your brought it up to your ear. "Hey, baby." Hoseok spoke softly into the phone. You instantly smiled while taking a seat on your couch. "Hey, what's up?" You asked with a childlike smile on your face.
"Well, unfortunately...." He began to mumble as if he was trying to hide something. You furrowed your eyebrows as he rambled. "Unfortunately what?" You questioned becoming suspicious. "I won't be able to make it this weekend." He spoke quickly.
First you felt emptiness and then anger. You tried to be reasonable and understand why. "Well wh-" your words were cut off by the doorbell ringing. You instantly told him to hold on as you walked to your front door. You sighed as you grabbed the handle of your door. As soon as you opened it, you jumped back. Your boyfriend was standing on the other side of the door way with a sneaky smile on his face.
You couldn't believe that it was actually him. Of course you occasionally thought about him tricking you and or surprising you, however you were completely caught off guard. You smiled and began to blush uncontrollably. When he saw you smile he knew his plan was successful. You tried to hide your face but Hoseok pulled you into bone crushing hug.
This moment was truly blissful. You let his beautifully familiar fragrance hold you captive as you rested in his embrace. "Alex, you have no idea how much I've missed you." He whispered in your ear.
You leaned back just so you could get one good look at him. As soon as his gaze met yours, you pulled him back into a hug. Hoseok sat on the couch and held his arms out for you. You shut the front door and smiled. He whined at how long you took to accompany him. "Baaabbbbbeee." He wiggled like a moody toddler. You walked over to him and he instantly pulled you on top of him. You tried to steady yourself and he giggled, causing you to blush again.
"You're so beautiful." He said in admiration of your features. You sunk your face into his chest out of embarrassment. Hoseok rested his hands on your back while pecking the top of your head. "How was your day." He asked as he began to play with the hem of your shirt. "Decent, but better now." You mumbled into his chest. He cupped your face so that he could see you. He kissed you all over your face, causing you to giggle.
"Now it's extremely better." He winked while still cupping your face. You stuck your tongue out at him. "I still can't believe you're here." You watched his lips as they curved into a smile. "Me either." He innocently pecked your lips while playing in your hair.
