luke looks at her with hopeful eyes, wishing to spark some kind of emotion out of her other than fear.

"please," he whispered. "i promise, this can be something."

she looked at luke scared. not scared of him, but scared of all her emotions. she knew what she was feeling, and she was afraid of getting her heart ripped out like each time before.

"i've tried it before, luke. i already told you. it only makes it worse," she cried out. a single tear made its way down both of her cheeks. she had tried her best to not cry, but failed.

luke grabbed her hand with both of his and looked at her, eyes not pleading, begging.

"this time," he pauses, looking straight into her eyes and clasping her hands tighter. "maybe this time, two wrongs make a right."
