[Story Montage]

Sora Gallegos Himura has struggled. She struggled with a defective heart that failed her when she was thirty-five. She struggled being married to a man who promptly fell in love with her sister Hana instead. She struggled for her sanity when post-partum depression and heartbreak nearly drove her to the worst. Now that she's recovered, Sora refuses to struggle anymore.

Two years after Hana betrayed her trust and bedded her husband, Sora is in the process of putting her life back together. She has a high-powered job and a growing son. She has her freedom. She has her hard-won health. But those things aren't all she has.

When her estranged ex-brother-in-law Ravi returns from his self-imposed exile in Europe, it's obvious he's changed. The once vapid fashion designer has grown thoughtful and compassionate where before he was selfish. He's become sympathetic to the pain he caused by leaving—and the havoc Hana wreaked as a result. He wants to make amends to the people hurt and he means to start with Sora.

As the clock counts down on December 31st, Ravi promises that the New Year will be her best year yet; he'll see to it. In twelve months, Ravi will help her trust again and laugh again. And if she is very lucky, he might even help her love again. This is the year Ravi Misra changes her life. What neither of them foresees is that Sora will change his life, too.
