You and only you

Chapter 2

Still Dan's POV I'll tell you guys when it changes but if you don't see it marked just know it's Dan or Phil continuing to talk.

I explain to Veronica what happened and she sat there the whole time and just listened, and I appreciated that.

"Ya I understand. My boyfriend did the same thing to me with my sister! It was crazy." Well at least she went through the same thing I am.

" I thought I was the only one with this problem." She smiles and laughs, "Ya you aren't alone. Anyways here are you heading?" I wasn't quite sure. "I don't know I was just trying to clear my head." She looks out the window, "Well we are almost to my flat, you could come with me?" She is a complete stranger to me but it seems like the only logical thing to do at this point.

It was either this or go back home and I defiantly wasn't going to do that. "Sure why not?" She smiles, "Great!" The train comes to a stop,"Oh here we are!"

We get off the train and head to her flat. She doesn't live to far from the train station. As she unlocks the door, my phone starts to buzz.

It's Phil. I start to panic. "What do I do?! I don't want to talk to him!!" Veronica grabs my phone and clicks accept. "Hello?"

"Hi? This is Phil can I speak to Dan?" I can hear what he is saying so I look at her with a panicked face.

"Um no sorry Dan is here right now, I can tell him you called though." She sounds really calm. .

"Um ok? Who is this and why do you have Dan's phone?" She looks at me like asking what do I say? But before I could answer she replies, "He dropped his phone off to get it fixed, he cracked the screen."

She look at me and I give her a thumbs up. "Oh ok well when when he picks his phone up just tell him that Phil called, he will know who I am." She continues to unlock the door and says, "Ok. Will do." And hangs up.

"How was that?" She asks. "That was great thank you Veronica." We walk into her flat and I go and sit down on a couch as she turns on the lights.

We spend the rest of the night talking. We have a lot in common, and she is even my age. "Well, it's getting late." I yawn. " Yeah, do you mind if I stay the night?" She looks at me with her big blue eyes, which I am just noticing. God, they are so beautiful. No stop Dan you just met this girl you can't already have feelings for her.

"No not at all here let me go and get you a pillow." She walks out of the room and into her room. I sit on the couch waiting till I hear, "Ugh! Come on you damn thing open!"

I get up from the couch a walk into her room. "Need some help?" She looks at me, "Ya that would be nice." I walk over and grab the other handle and we pull. Then it swings open, knocking us both back. Veronica lets go and starts to fall. Without thinking I whip around and catch her with both arms.

She looks up at me and I look down at her. Soon we are locked into each others eyes. There they are again those big, blue, beautiful eyes.
