I woke up to the sound of the door opening it hasten eight months since the kiss and I think its because of Shane and loris doing. Carl sneaks in through the roof to see me everyday before the group wakes up he told me that they were going to let me out today. And he was right. Rick came into the shed I have missed him so much he hasn't seen me since the beginning of the shed. He use to visit me everyday I loved it when he would visit me he was the only human interaction I would have other than Carl but apparently someone found out and stopped him. He looked at me and flashed me a smile then he noticed Carl hiding behind a crate in the corner " Carl I see you, you can come out I wont be mad" Rick spoke quietly to his son. Carl came out slowly " I didnt want esme to be lonely" he said quietly " thank you Carl" Rick smiled and told Carl to go play. After Carl left closing the door behind him Rick spoke " I'm sorry esme I wanted to come see you I really did, but after they found out where I was going they kept a close eye on me making it impossible for me to see you." he said quickly pinching the bridge of his nose " have Daryl or Glenn come back?" I asked him " Glenn got back today" he said smiling " D-Daryl?" I stuttered tear forming in my eyes " I don't know ill let you talk to Glenn about that." he said before walking over to me and hugging me. I sobbed into his shoulder releasing everything that I had bottled up inside. He picked me up and carried me outside and into the house into Glenn room. He carefully sat me down on glenns lap where he was sitting on the couch. " hey baby sister" he whispered to me " hey" I said between hiccups "Daryl?" I asked him " Esme he he got surrounded he told me to run and find you to protect you and that he loved you but he wanted you to move on from him to be happy with me Rick and Carl. The last thing I saw was him being surrounded." he told me us both crying at this point.
My love was gone.
My hope was gone.
Daryl was gone.
