Reunited

I stood there wide eyed looking at the girl who I once knew as a sweet innocent 7 year old who looks so mature now. Then the man who I knew as an abusive boyfriend who thought he was my husband because he gave me a ring. We got separated towards the beginning so about 4 years ago so I moved on to Daryl then Rick. Clementine ran to me hugging me. Lee took a second then did the same. What was I going to tell him I thought he was dead so I've been dating someone else for 2 years. He pulled apart and looked at me and then the baby then me and back to the baby. He looked at me and then over my shoulder. I felt Ricks strong arms wrap around my waist as he kissed my cheek " mornin" he said looking at Daryl and Clem and lee. He released me and did that bro hug shit with Daryl and shook lees hand. Lee looked furious. " who the hell are you!" He spat "I'm Esmes boyfriend Rick Grimes." He said causing lee to grow madder. " no I don't think so because I'm her fucking husband." He yelled Rick looked taken back by his words, " then why doesn't she have a ring?" Rick questioned sternly " esme where's your ring where is it?!?" He yelled grabbing my wrist roughly. I winced as he looked me dead in the eyes he slapped me clean across the cheek knocking me to the ground. I saw Rick and Daryl tackle him to the ground as Clem rushed over. Lee got up and kicked me in my sides and legs, then he spat on me and everything just faded away like it would even before the apocalypse. This is why I would flip my shit on Lori and Shane with Carl why I lost my ever loving mind with carols late husband Ed. 
I have been abused all my life.
So yeah sorry for the short chapter. Now we're finding out more about Esmes past so yeah coolness. I want to have a vote on who esme should be with Rick, Daryl, or Lee. Btw no hate on lee I love him to pieces but it's for story purposes. For those of you who don't know who led and clementine are they are from the telltale game the walking dead. Peace my walking nerds.
