Emma's POV
Everyday was the same pointless thing. 6am wake up, classes till 5pm, prayer till 6pm, dinner at 7pm, social time 7:30pm till 9:00pm, then lights out at 9:10. If you thought being in a school was bad enough, try living in school.
I go to Abbey Mount, the most popular boarding school in the whole of England. Our rules and responsibilities were absolutely pointless. Let's run through them:
Rules: -basically what you have to do-
-skirt just above the knee with shorts under neath
-socks just below the knee
-shirts tucked into skirts
-tie must be secured correctly, badge must be showing and the tip should reach your belly button
-jumpers must be put on correctly, with badge showing on the right of your upper body
-blazer should then be added, without any mobile phones
-shoes must be black
-hair must be tied back in a blue and white bobble along with a blue and white bow in front of the pony tail
-black hats must be worn at all times
-mobile phones are forbidden
-do not bully
-disturbing others especially during prep or study sessions will end in detention.
-damaging boarding school property will end in expulsion.
-shouting or speaking loudly in the boarding school will end in detention.Responsibilities: -basically what you can do but you have to be responsible for it-
-dress properly in the school premises
-attend all boarding school routines unless you are unwell and cannot attend in which case, call the attendance office
-access the boarding school with your badge
-stay within the premises from 8:45pm till 6:30am
-curfew is 9pm, lights out is 9:10pm, doors are locked at 10:30pm, which is when you should start going to sleep
-observe silence during prep sessions
-stay in bed after lights out
-anyone found out of bed/dormitory without good reason will be punished
-report accidents and security concerns immediately to boarding staffOur rules and responsibilities were first placed there in 1930, then were re-written in 1999, then again in 2013 by Harriet Soloist.
I share a dorm with Emily,(or Drippy as I call her) and Jess(or Sulu as I call her), we have a spare bed incase of any new members.
The boys and girls are separated in to two separate dorms but often mix when classes are the same.
'Field trippers' often wonder upon our stupid little boarding school and start to 'behave' because they don't want to end up here.

FanfictionIn no way associated with the BBC three programme some girls. 4 good, boarding school, disciplined girls fall for 4 bad, dangerous, manipulative boys who take a 'field trip' to Abbey Mount.
