-Chapter One-
Run, Willow, run! I was going to be late for math, and trust me, mr. Roth is not a teacher to mess with.
I was almost there when I ran into a wall. Well, he might as well have been a wall. It felt like it.
"Watch it, nerd. Are you blind? You have eyes, use them." Ah, yes. The schools favorite bad boy. Walker. Well, his first name is Trystan, but I call him Walker.
"Oh shove it Walker. If you weren't blind, you would have seen me coming your way, and moved out of mine," I spat.
He grabs my wrist and slams me against the wall of lockers, making my heart skip a beat. He gets so close I can feel his breath on my skin. "What did you say?" He hisses.
"U-uh n-nothing," I stutter. He smirks. "Thought so," he says and walks away. I sat there for a minute, stunned. Did I just get on Trystan Walker's bad side?

"Hey guys," I say as I sit down at our usual table in the cafeteria. "Sup, Willow. Hey, so there's a party tomorrow night, you in?" Cody asks. "Am I ever in?"
"Good point," he says. "Come on, please," my best friend, Stacey, begs. "Come on, please," Adrian mocks her tone. "No, I hate parties. My brother throws enough of them."
"Let's make a deal. You go to the party, and I'll bring you my moms cookies for a week," Cody offers.
Hmm. His moms cookies are amazing. Parties suck. But it'll only be for a few hours...
"Fine, I'll go," I give in. "Yay!" Adrian cheers, waving his arms around. "Would you stop? You look like a rabid monkey," I tell him. "Fine fine," he says. "This means we're going shopping after school. Cody and Adrian, you are to come with us. We need someone to hold out stuff while we shop," Stacey says.
"Are you serious? I'm not doing that," Adrian complains. Stacey glares at him and he shrinks down in his seat. "Fine," he mutters. "That's what I thought," she says, satisfied with herself.
The bell rings and I'm off to history. It's the one class I pay attention to. I mean, I get good grades in the other classes, but I get great grades here because I actually have an interest in it.
Of course, my happy bubble was popped when a certain someone walks in. Ah, great. Just what I need. Walker.
And to make it worse, he sits right next to me. Just my luck.
He doesn't say a word, he just sits there with a stupid smirk on his face. Makes me wanna slap it right off.
I tried to pay attention to the teacher, but it was kind of hard, considering Walker was staring at me the entire time.
Trystan was gone as soon as the class was over. First one out of the room. That's only because everyone stays out of his way.
And like always, I was the last out. I don't like to push and shove my way out. I've learned that it's quicker if I just wait for people to move.
And my luck continues, (note the sarcasm), when I run into that same wall I did this morning. Well crap. I was doing a great job of a avoiding him too!
"You know, if you wanted my attention, you could've tried to get it without throwing yourself at me," he smirks.
"Don't flatter yourself. You and your big ego take up so much space it's kind of hard not to run into you."
"You're just trying to cover it up. That's alright. I understand," he says. I scoff. "As if I'd ever go for you."
"It wouldn't matter if you did. No one likes a nerd," he says. "Oh wow. Would you like an award for that one?"
He grabs my wrist and squeezes it so hard I'll probably have a bruise. "I'd watch it if I were you. I can make you life a living hell in an instant." And with that, he shoves me and storms away.
I examine my wrist and sure enough, I can already see a bruise forming. I shake it off and head to my next class, making sure I don't run into anyone else. Trystan Walker was bad enough.

"God, Adrian! What took you so long?" Stacey asks when Adrian finally arrives at her car. "Stupid teacher and shit," he mutters under his breath. "I don't even want to know. Let's just go," she says.
I hop in the passenger side of her car while the guys head back to their own. I have a license and a car, I just prefer it if other people drive me around.
"There are some rules to this shopping trip," I warn her once we pull out. She sighs. "What are they?" She asks.
"No dresses. No heels. No yellow," I tell her. She is always trying to put me in yellow! It's annoying. "What? How can you say no dresses?" She exclaims.
"No! You know I don't wear dresses," I say. "Yes, but you also don't go to parties. This is an exception night!" She complains. "Stacey," I whine. "Please please please please please please!"
I stick my fingers in my ear and pretend to not hear her. "PLEASE!" I groan. "Fine! Just shut up, would ya?" She smiles in satisfaction. "You love me," she says. "And you hate me." She smiles.
"Hey text your mom. I betcha you didn't tell her you're shopping," she says. "Crap! You're right."
<<hey ma:) going to the mall with Stacey. Be back by 7
>>ok. Have fun!
"What'd she say?" Stacey asks. "Have fun," I say. "Ha! Your mom is awesome," she says.
"Eh, she's probably hoping I get drunk and have a massive hangover the next day, just so she can make fun of me." Stacey nods. "That's what makes her awesome. She's like a mom and a best friend combined."
"Well, I'm glad you found a new friend," I tell her. "Oh shush, we're here," she says.
"Oh joy," I say under my breath. "Come on, there's Cody," she says. I sigh and get out of the car. Why did I agree to this? Cookies.
"Who's ready to go shopping!" Stacey exclaims. Me and Cody both roll our eyes. "And there's Adrian. Let's go!" I groan and follow her into the mall.
"If we're being forced to go shopping with you, are we at least going to eat?" Adrian asks. I high five him. "You read my mind," I say.
"Yes, we'll eat," Stacey says. "Good, because if you said no, I was prepared to just up and leave here and now," Adrian says.
We walk into some store, I didn't pay attention to which, and Stacey immediately started grabbing dresses and shoving them in Cody's and Adrian's hands.
"Alright, try them on," she says.
Next thing I know, I'm shoved into a dressing room with a million dresses! Didn't I say no dresses? She probably tricked me into giving in.
I gasp when I hold up the first dress. "Who dare pick out this barely-there yellow dress?" I squeal. "
"Uh," I hear Cody says. "Cody Lawson, how dare you try to dress me in yellow!" I exclaim.
Everyone knows I don't wear yellow. Ever. It's an unspoken rule.
"I-I. Uh uh uh," he stammers. "Uh uh uh, is right! Throw this thing in the trash or something," I say, throwing it at him and heading back into the dressing room.
After trying on many dresses, I decided on a strapless black dress that's mid-thigh length that hugs my curves nicely. Hey, if I'm gonna party, I'm at least going to party right.
