Tension was thick between the undead and the soldiers of Azter. Meters away from the battlefield was a stray man, slowly waking with blood shot eyes and scruffed up hair. Looking around, confused on his surroundings, he noticed a fight against the living and undead, looking around enclosed by trees, birds of prey were perched on the tree branches. To the left of him was an electrical weapon in the shape of two half diamonds attached by a curved middle. Reaching for it he grasped it with an electrical spark, standing up, starring at the undead ripping a chunk of flesh out of a soldier’s neck, he flew into the fight. Slicing through one head and into a rotten leg he decapitated the vermin which blood covered him over.
“WHO AM I, WHATS GOING ON” he shouted questions at the soldiers cowering behind their weapons.
“Calm down sir, please settle down, follow us to our village and we shall explain what is going on to you”.
Approaching a small quite village, the soldiers stood in their tracks, “Listen up” the group leader sharply ordered the stranger as he continued to walk out of the wooded area.
“Stay here, we shall inform our village about you aligment” the man looked at him puzzled “Aligment, don’t you mean alignment” the leader spun round smacking him in the face leaving knuckle marks in his bloody nose.
“I can’t say some words, now shut up or I’ll beat you”. The soldiers walked towards the village disappearing behind the fallen gate as the guy stood next to a tree furthest out of the woodlands.
Minutes grew into hours, as the stranger lay silently on the wavy green grass, the wind blew strongly into the passage of his nose and his cheeks were becoming frozen from the spiteful weather.
“Where are they for crying out loud” he shot up, pacing back and forth growing redder in the face. The village gates suddenly started to open as two groups came from it, “About bloody time”, the stranger walked down the hill towards the people coming towards him. “Hay stranger, what’s your name”, stopping in his tracks the question spun round in his head, filling all the space that was left in his memory banks.
“My name?”, stuttering he replied to the leaders question “My…name, I… don’t, honestly … know”.
“Do you know anything that is going on” the leader stood with his soldiers and three villagers entwined on the left and right of him. Standing meters away from each other, the leader and stranger locked eyes, “I don’t’ know anything, all I know is that I saw a shadow towering over me, then a lightning bolt struck me out cold and next I remember awakening here in sight of your soldiers fighting those undead”.
“I see young one, you must have a lot of questions then, your memories will return in time I cannot help you regain them, but I can direct you in a direction of much interest with you”
Magical essences came out of the Azter elder in a strange purple pink mixture of air currents and vibrations the ground shook rather voraciously and made a clear path towards a forest starting from the stranger that stood beside the leader looking puzzled.
“Follow this path to the forest of unknown creatures, there, you shall find your answers young one and you to will have a destined path in all this to. For now I must gather the Azter army, for they are on their own path in all this, to meet the soldier of Romert, hopefully together they can reawaken the crystallic guardians and save this planet from the hell that has begun to plague these lands”.
Before setting off the villagers gave him food and water supplies, “I wish you the best of luck on your travels and maybe one day we shall meet again young one”. Warm goodbyes were giving out and the stranger took off down the path towards a path of many revealed mysteries and many more questions to be asked.
Not long down the path an encounter occurred with a small medical group carrying a young child badly injured and with many wounds. “Hey!” The young man called out to them, “What happened to the poor boy”. In a hurried explanation they continue to walk towards Azter, the wind picked up and cold bitter gusts of wind threw themselves into the direction of the nearby trees that formed an entrance into a bizarre looking area.
“Everything seems rather odd around here, but I must press on and fined this Prowen I hear of” with each step the winds got colder and harder, there was no chance of turning back with them this strong, it was like the wind was directing him in one set path.
As the stranger entered into the forest the life essence of past living beings dripped down from the trees splashing into the tiny pools that lay dormant in the cold withered soil of which he stood upon.
“Follow the wind, the future that you come from, if you continue on this path you shall be reminded of whom you are… well, mostly” a gusty laugh came from deeper in, the pools of blood slowly started to connect together, bodies lay in a form of a path lifeless yet helpful even in death. Crows made tremendous noise in the silence and feathers fluttered in the path of the man so thick you could best describe them as a black fog.
A burning red light pulsated in the distance, walking towards it a strong heat radiated the surrounding area, “So you have come, well done master I knew you would find me” the forest spun out of control creating another world entirely different to what had just been there.
Utterly surprised by everything going on, the stranger was speechless and just allowed himself to listen to this burning bird that flew before him calling him master as the colors of purple, pink, yellow and red spun around creating a world of volcanic mountains and where the pools of blood were stood now a bubbling lava infested plant that jumped in and out of the heated swamps.
“This is the future that you control, you may not have your powers yet but I am linked to you purely by our souls. You were chosen by Hectarn a god of the future that faced a demonic child of his master a god of lightning and pure electric power that you may remember, well these are his memories put within you to destroy this opponent before taking your first steps forward toward your own destiny”.
Many of the magma plants had formed up a group around them both at this point and planted themselves into the scolding soil, as if they were gathering around to listen to the story. The sky had turned dark red and black spirals were everywhere to be seen. Over towards where Azter should be was a large portal surrounded by a few houses and a green vortex to some unknown destination was opening up in a blinding darkness.
“You must awaken your power and destroy the god Hectarn was unable to defeat many years ago, for this world is in grave danger if he isn’t stopped, your only way to do this is with this power you have been given, travel back to the present and find Prowen he will be in a great battle along with the soldiers of Romert and Azter, you must protect him and reawaken the Crystallic Guardians they are what hold your powers at bay, I shall be with you, if you die I can grant u life again but if myself dies my power isn’t great enough to safe me only my master”.
With this new knowledge of his past and path to take in his future the young man stood their deciding on a name for his epic travels and adventure.
“I shall be known from here on as Phoenix, I shall revenge your memory of death Hectarn and from there I shall travel out with my own destiny”.
The world slowly returned to normal, the portal begun to close and the darkness that was coming forth from within it had been swallowed up by the returning time line from when Phoenix had come from.
