Chapter 13: My Apology

CJ apologized to her younger brother about the incident the night before.

Tyler forgave his sister but also told her to say sorry to Paix.

" I just want to tell you what kind of ice cream I want. But you walked too fast. I got scared that's why I

cried. Paix saw me while he was walking with his friend. He asked me where you are. I said I got lost

because I followed you. He's nice CJ. He's not a stranger anympre because I knew his name.

CJ held his small hands and said:" I got worried, that's why I got mad at you and ...Paix. She gave her

young brother a big hug. " I love you and Maddie to the moon and back, that's what I promised to

Mom before she left that afternoon."

" CJ, If you will see Paix, can you say thank you to him for me please? I forgot to say it because you

were mad at me."

" I will surely apologize the next time I'll see him again. And I won't forget to say thank you from me

and you."

CJ has voice lessons the following day. She just got out of the car when he saw Paix crossing the

parking lot. He wanted to call out his name but decided just to wait till they get inside the building.

She was running out of breath trying to catch up with him when he turned his head: She brought her

sweetest smile and said:" Hi Paix!" Paix looked past her and went over to this beautiful woman in

slacks and designer polo.

" Hey Sarah! How's your trip?"

CJ didn't know what to do. " I just embarrassed myself!'' She's too close to them that she can't just

walked away. She slowly inched her way closer to the exit and ran as fast as she can. Paix secretely

eyed and followed her departure from the building.
