CJ came unescorted that night. All eyes were on her as she walked by herself in the theater. Some
were talking about the recent developments about her and Paix while others were just mesmerized
by her ethereal beauty. She was wearing very minimal make-up which made her face glow naturally.
Moreover, the crying episode a few hours ago gave her face a natural blush that complimented her
minimal look. She was seated 2 rows behind Sarah and Paix, on the opposite aisle. She caught a
glimpse of Paix looking at her but decided not to acknowledge that gaze. She was reading the
program when someone took the empty seat beside her. Bryan Stuart, the girl magnet of the football
league. He had sent her feelers before for a possible date with him but that remained an invitation.
"Hey CJ!" He gave her a peck on the cheek which in normal circumstance wouldn't be acceptable for
her since she didn't know him that well. However, tonight was an exception to the rule. Maybe,
whoever made them seat together should not be yelled at, but instead, be appreciated.
The arrival of Bryan did not remain unnoticed by Paix. He felt his own jealousy running him over
He knows that he should not be mad at her for letting him seat beside her but he cannot contain his
annoyance. He wanted to walk over where they are seated and warned Bryan that CJ is his girl but he
couldn't. Sarah was fully aware of what's happening between the two. Afterall, it was she who
ordered the change in seating arrangement. A little birdie told her about Bryan's public declaration
of his crush towards CJ. Why not make everyone happy tonight?
