Six months later.
It have passed six months after the funeral. The atmosphere was getting better day by day. Robin became amazingly good at cooking. And Nami and Usopp were preparing special diets for everyone. They were using Sanji's notes for everyone's diet list and combinating them. Luffy returned his old habit of sneaking in the kitchen at night, and every morning Nami were beating him. They we're eating a lot of fish dishes. She was complaining about the money, but Zoro decided to play poker with her, and if he wins, she'll have to buy better and more expensive products. For everyone's happiness the swordsmen won. Usopp and Franky invented another small aquarium in the kitchen, which Luffy was so happy to fall inside. God know how he managed! XD They continued with their daily stupid routine. Zoro was training or sleeping. Luffy was fooling around the ship. Nami and Robin started to grow new plant together and Chopper was quite happy that they were also taking care for some of his herbs.
The crew also needed a lot of time to repair the Crows Nest. Zoro had broken almost every window and there was even a hole on the wall. He had throw some of his weights in the sea. A whole week after the funeral Zoro had been sitting inside the Crows Nest and from time to time around midnight the crew could've hear screams and loud noise from objects hitting the surroundings. When he left on the sixth day, Luffy and Robin entered a room which was a total mess, there we're pieces of glass and wood everywhere and an alfull smell of blood and cigarettes. It was kinda strange for everyone that Zoro started to wear shirts with long sleeves although it was warm. But then when was the time to gather the fish net from the water, he removed the shirt and revealed a horrible sight of wounds. Even pieces of glass were stabben in his flesh. Chopper was furious when he finally understood whose the blood in the infirmary was and dragged him to treat his wounds. He couldn't believe that Zoro had tryed to treat himself alone. After that the doctor had kept a close eye on him. Luffy tried to talk to him a couple of times about that. Then finally the swordsman told him that he had fallen on the glass, but didn't want to worry everyone else. Even after all this time, Zoro didn't want to tell him what was he actually doing in the Crows Nest during these days. After when he showed himself again in front the crew, Zoro could feel that they were trying to distract him. And he was thank full about that. The time was passing and he could feel something in him had changed. He felt emptier than before, sadder but at the same time happier.
One morning when Zoro get up from sleep, he heard screams from the deck. When he went outside he saw Nami dragging Luffy around the deck screaming. He rested his hands on the parapet, smiled and said. "Hey, Nami! What happened this time?"
"What happened? I'll tell you. Your Captain ate the whole breakfast!" She screaming in rage.
"Lol wait a second. My Captain? Don't drag me into this. It's your responsibility to watch over him woman!"A few seconds later he was lying on the floor with bleeding head. At the same time Chopper was outside an screamed angrily.
"Hey, Nami don't give me extra work!"
"What do you think you're doing you goat!" Zoro was about to jump when he was hit by Luffy flying in his direction.
"Nami! Calm down!" Chopper screamed again. She walked in the kitchen and left Luffy and Zoro unconscious on the deck. When the swordsman opened his eyes he stood up and walked away from the battle scene.
The Zoro started training again but this time outside or more correctly on the back of the deck. He was lifting his weights when he felt a presence behind him. "Yeah... What do you want?" He said and left the weights aside.
"I just wanted a company." Robin said and walked next to him on the parapet and again they stood there watching the sea.
"This brings memories." Zoro said.
"Good or bad?" The woman asked.
"Maybe both?" He answered. She laughed and he smiled a little. "I was sitting in here and you we're asking me why do I smoke." He said and took a cigarette from his pocket. "Then you we're interested in my personal life and love affairs." Zoro lit it and dragged the smoke in his lungs. "And I decided to trust you and showed you everything." He said an released the smoke in perfect circle.
"I don't like your voice." She said coughing. "I expected you to threat me for asking about back there."
"You know... Even though I don't want to show any emotion it doesn't mean that there is no storm inside me, trying to rip me apart." He said.
"Sorry."
"Don't... So what are we doing tomorrow?"
"Wow, you're interested in doing something?" Both of them laughed. "Well we'll go to the next island and Usopp will need wood so would you mind helping him out in the forest?
"Well I want to keep myself busy with something in the next few days so..." he said.
xXx
"Hey Luffy, can you give me a second?" Robin asked. The Captain looked at her and they went inside the kitchen. "I have a question."
"Yea?"
"What day is tomorrow?"
"Dunno, why?" He asked with a dumb smile.
"Just that Zoro said that he wanted to keep himself busy." She said but when she saw Luffy's eyes, Robin understood that she'll get an answer.
"Oh, that day, so it came already." He said. Luffy looked at her and answered her question. "Tomorrow is the day when Zoro found Sanji in that city one year ago.
