Chapter 16; Because I'm Taken

It has been a week since Simon broke the news to me. I still haven't told Liam, I don't know how. I keep almost getting there but then I drop it. I don't know how to do it, I can't imagine the look on his face when I tell him. I don't want to leave but I have no say in this. What do I do? I have one week left here, I guess I'll have to live it as my best. I mean yes, I'm coming back eventually but it will be a while. I won't let Liam wait for me, besides long distant relationships won't work. He'll move on and forget about me. I guess I'll tell him when I find the right time.

I heard the familiar ringing of my phone going off and grabbed it to check who had called. It was Liam. I called him back and after a few seconsd the familiar voice responded.

"Hello?" I heard Liam say.

"You rang?" I asked.

"Oh, um yeah. I wanted to see if you wanted to go to dinner tonight?"

"Sure, um what time?"

"Um half six sound good?"

"Perfect" I said with a smile.

"Like you."

"Cheesy, Liam very cheesy." I said laughing at him.

"You love me." He said, a smile clear in his voice.

"Indeed I do. Bye, I have to go get ready. I love you."

"I love you too see you in a little while." He said and I heard the click of the phone cutting off.

I stood in my wardrobe pondering what to wear for about 30 minutes. Finally, I had decided to wear a white chiffon crop top with black sketched hearts with a pair of red skinnies, black wedges and a black blazer to top it off. I applied a BB cream to my face along with some powder, eyeliner and mascara as per usual. I decided to keep my hair simple and pulled it onto my left shoulder into a simple braid. I twisted my bangs off to the side and added a bow to the end of the braid. Classy yet simple.

It was now around six, I had thirty minutes left to spare. I brused my teeth, sprayed my favorite body spray (Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction) and danced around like an idiot for a while before heading back downstairs to wait for Liam.

"You know, you look very British tonight?" Liam said with a laugh.

"Haha, okay then well I live here so I guess it kind of rubbed off." I said shrugging slightly.

"Apparently. Oh, ladies first." Liam said as he gestured for me to enter the resteraunt first.

"You just want to stare at my ass." I said with a wink before entering the resteraunt.

"No, I was being a gentleman." He said as a blush crept onto his cheeks.

"You're a horrible liar."

"I know."

I watched as the waiter walked towards our table with our food. I grew anxious to eat as she approached us.

"Steak?" She asked. I raised my hand. Oh, I spend way too much time in school. I had ordered a steak with corn, mashed potatoes and gravy and shrimp. While Liam had ordered Spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. I took a bite of the steak and I was in heaven. I swear to you that was the best steak I had ever had in my life.

We had just finished eating our food when a familiar song came on in the resteraunt. I recognised it as Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran.

"May I have this dance?" Liam asked holding out his hand.

"I can't dance" I said looking off to the side awkwardly.

"Neither can I. C'mon." He said taking my ha d and pulling me to the dance floor.

We swayed back and forth as the song played. Liam sang along as the song started to come to an end.

I did as he asked and kissed him like I wanted to be loved. There was no doubt about him much I loved Liam.
