Olivia

I loved to hear those three little words come out of his mouth. The words were so simple, yet they held so much meaning. They are such beautiful words and I loved to say them back to him. The moment he said 'I love you.' I could feel my heart flutter and my body fill with warmth. It felt so good to know I was loved. They were the most comforting words I had ever heard and he spoke them flawlessly.

I lay in bed that night, replaying the day in my head repeatedly. I had discovered something new about Liam, he could sing. He could sing like an angel. Everything about him is complete perfection. His eyes, smile, personality, hands, voice and so much more. Compared to me, Liam was like a God. The word 'perfect' is an understatement.

I am going to Quinn's today, I've been so wrapped up in so many things lately. I've hardly made time to talk or just chill out with her. It feels like forever.

I arrived at Quinn's around 4:30. She welcomed me with open arms. Quinn ran down the driveway and enveloped me in a very tight hug.

"Well hello there, somebody has become an octopus." I said laughing at her.

"Shut up. You have to tell me everything that you've been up to. We haven't hung out in forever." Quinn said breaking our hug. I was silently praising because I was loosing my breath.

"I know, I'm sorry. I've just had a ton of things going on lately. It's crazy, you're totally going to kill me for not telling you." I replied with a sigh. Quinn nodded and we made our way into her flat.

"Mum! Olivia's here, we'll be in my room if you need anything! Quinn called to her mother as we walked up the staircase to her bedroom. Her mother walked out of her office. Quinn definitely took up her mothers looks. Like Quinn's mother, Quinn had dark chocolate brown hair, brown eyes and a cute and innocent smile. Quinn was a little on the thick side, I hated when people made fun of her. So what if she has a little meat on her bones at least she's not a twig.

"I figured that much when you ran downstairs screaming with joy." Her mother said with a laugh. "Hello, Olivia." She said wrapping me in a motherly hug. Quinn was an only child and unfortunately, her parents divorced when she was twelve. Quinn was constantly back and forth between parents.

"Hi, Ms. H." I said with a smile

"Now Olivia, you know you can call me Steph." She said releasing me from the hug, looking down at me.

"I know, I know." I said with a laugh. Her mom was so sweet, she had been like a mother to me ever since I moved here.

Quinn and I were sprawled out on her bed, filling our faces with candy.

"So anyways, how have you been?" Quinn asked, sitting up and facing herself towards me.

"Well, I've been through a rough patch the past month but I'm good now."

"What happened?" I took a deep breath and began,

"Well, a few weeks back, while you were on vacation Nicole had hired someone to um.. kidnap me. I ended up getting beaten and raped..."

"My God Livvy, are you okay?" Quinn interrupted.

"Yeah, just listen. The cops found me, they took Nicole and my attacker into custody. A week later, Pamela... she was hit... by a car. She had to have surgery, the damage was critical. There was a chance she could have been comatose. She is now. That hit hard. I've been depressed. Liam has been a great help though. Quinn, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't really want to talk to anyone. I just wanted to be alone." I said, hanging my head. I could feel tears spilling down my cheeks.

"Oh my God. I'm so sorry Livvy. Don't cry. I just wished you would have told me. You know I'm here for you." Quinn said, reaching over to hug me, pulling me close to her chest.

"Thanks Quinn."

"By the way, how are you and Liam?" She asked curiosity lacing her voice.

"Good." I said with a smile as I wiped my tears away.

"No, I want details." Quinn said crossing her arms.

"Well, he's been amazing. He makes me happy. He's so sweet, he's like heaven sent..." I continued to talk about Liam, mentioning the events at the park the other day.

"You two are so cute. You're perfect for each other. I'm still sitting here like a single Pringle." She said wihmth a laugh. Quinn had a cute laugh, it kind of reminded me of a fairy.

"Don't worry, you'll find your Prince Charming someday." I said laughing, patting her on the head.

"Are you saying Liam's your Prince Charming?" She said, raising her eyebrows with a smirk.

"Maybe..." I said looking away, I could feel myself turning red. She busted out laughing. Not cool bro, not cool.
