We began walking "whoa ,whoa ,whoa " I turned around "what?" Schmidt asked "what are you doing ?" "what ?" "are you two strapping it ?" "my back pack ,yea " "yeah I got to be seen with you ,you got to one strap it " I rolled my eyes and continued walking "seriously guys I would no-strap it if that would even be possible " I said "okay ,what makes you the expert ?" asked Schmidt "I was cool in high school and you weren't" Jenko said "okay that makes sense ..continue " "the three keys of coolness in high school by Jenko , one don't try to hard at anything okay ? two make fun of the people who do try ,three be handsome or in Val's place cute " I turned away to blush "four ,if anyone steps to you on the first day of school you punch them directly in the face ,five drive a kick ass car " he finished and we all turned to look at the small beat up car parked on the curb "Well guys I have a motorcycle but that's it " I said turning to point to it "damn where did you get that beauty ?" Jenko said walking over to it "my dad got it for me on my 17th birthday " "oh yea I remember you used to drive it to school on Fridays " Schmidt said "mhm" I said "the thing is we need to get you guys a car ,let's call the department " . We stood inside the garage of the station " this one is perfect " I said admiring the Camaro "alright ,but just don't be driving it like teenagers revving up the engine and shit okay ?" Hoffs said "come on Hoffs give us a little credit "Jenko said ,they got in and we stopped at an abandoned area and began revving the engine ,Schmidt sat inside the car and hit the gas running over Jenko "that was awesome ,I felt like I was flying " "my turn " Schmidt said I sat in the passenger seat staring and laughing at Schmidt "alright go !" I yelled as Jenko floored the pedal ,we waited for Schmidt to get up ,I got out and ran to him "Schmidt!?" "are you okay ?" Jenko asked "I think I shit my pants " Schmidt said we all laughed and then it was my turn ,yes I know crazy but hey risk taking is fun "okay ready ? go " I waited for the impact to come and I rolled on the hood and back to the floor "that ...was ..awesome !" I said running up to Jenko and jumping on him ,he wrapped his arms around my waist "you okay ?" I then realized what I was doing and got off "ahem yea fine thanks for that " I said blushing and turning away god why am I so stupid . "alright guys let's get going " Schmidt said . We arrived at the school and for some unknown reason they decided to park in a handicap spot ,I walked over to them and "don't succumb to the peer pressure " "do I even want to know what you guys are talking about ?" I asked linking arms with Jenko for professional reasons "Hi " said a guy with brown eyes and brown hair " hey " "hey " Jenko and Schmidt said "sup " I said smiling "is that your car ?" he asked "yea " Jenko said "what's that thing get 10 miles to the gallon ?" "no try like seven ,you ?" asked Schmidt "biodiesel ,dawg " smells like egg rolls " I said "yea it does " Schmidt said "runs on leftover fry oil from Hunan Palace but we try to ride bikes when we can global crisis and what not " Jenko let go of my arm "whatever man I don't care about anything " "you don't care about anything ? that's kinda fucked man " "hey ,hey will ya'll shut up I'm trying to study ,thanks man " "look at him ,he's trying ,he's actually trying what a nerd look at him look at the nerd " Jenko said "who you calling a nerd ?" the guy came up to Jenko "I'm sorry . what .." I grabbed Jenko and Schmidt "okay that was one hell of a way to start our first day ,let me guess the old you kicked in to soon ?" he looked at me "the captain said to fit in with the cool kids didn't he ?" "she's right " Schmidt said "Okay look let's just go out and about the rest of the day hoping we don't screw it up " I say entering the building "okay well I'll wait here while you consult with the principal " he shook his head "no your going to be late Schmidt and I got this you go on ahead " I nod "okay " I began walking away and turned quickly and hugged him his hands wrapped around my waist "Its gonna be fine okay " I said pulling away ,he smiles and enters the office .
