Rapunzel's POV
No, I am not feeling this right now. Why am I crying over Jack? It's like that what I did to him was wrong. The truth is what he did to me was wrong. But still, why did I feel so guilty? He's right, I am still that kind of girl that he used to know. I am not this kind of girl he's seeing right now, a mad and strong, and like a real grown up Punzie. Ugh, what'm I thinking? All I have to do now is make Jack realize that what he did to me was wrong, or is there something else that I want to prove?
I went to school with Flynn, some other students asked for my autograph. And some of the students gave me a death glare, especially the girls. They're thinking that I took Flynn from them. But I have to be honest, it was more fun of trying to live normal than being a star. Flynn stared at me secretly. Looking at my lonely face and reading my emotion. "Hey, you'll get used to this soon, okay?" Flynn comforted. I kinda wanted to say it will never happen because I am living a celebrity life right now and it's really hard, but I realized that it's just my choice. I just nodded to him in response.
Later on, Flynn allowed me to hang out with Hiccup and Merida since he was having a meeting in dance and speech. So I've decided to just hang out in the canteen. Merida bought me a drink. "You didn't have to you know," I said while smiling at her. "Come on, you're my best friend. And it's been a long time since we didn't hang out, so I'll give ya a treat. Don't say no to this okay?" Merida said. Well, she is right. "Okay, thanks by the way," I said and took a sip of the pink bubblegum flavored drink. Hiccup sat beside Merida and he was totally freaking out.
"Oh my God you guys, it's Astrid Hofferson again," Hiccup whispered. I saw Merida's face, she was rolling her eyeball, why is that?
"Oh come on, you've been talking about her since she got here," Merida said with an irritating tone. "What do you mean? She's one of the most popular actress in Channel 6," Hiccup said. "Since when did you watch her TV shows?" Merida asked. "I've been watching it since she started as that little girl in the Cloud Fantasies? She was wearing red checkered shirt and blue pants," Hiccup said. Merida glared at Hiccup. Wait, why is she so upset with Astrid Hofferson? It's like that she did something to her. Or maybe, oh my gosh. Does Merida actually like Hiccup?
"I'm just gonna catch up with ya guys later," Merida grabbed her bag and left us. "What's the matter with her? Every time I talk about Astrid Hofferson, she's always gets upset," Hiccup said. I kinda want to say maybe she likes you, but really I don't want to say anything that may or may not be true yet. "I don't know," I said. "Whatever, let's just go," Hiccup said. We both stood up in our chairs and went back to the hallway. I was about to get my books from my locker, but then I saw Jack. I remembered our project, but since he doesn't want to be with me, then I'll just finish it myself.
I went to my locker and I didn't notice him a bit. "Hey Punzie," he called. I was giving him the silent treatment. I grabbed my books and closed my locker. "Wait, come on. I just wanted to finish the project," Jack said. "Why don't you just finish it yourself?" I angirly said. "Look, I'm sorry about how I acted. I just, I'm not used of seeing you like that. But from now on, I promise I'll just help you with the project," Jack said. I don't know why, but I felt sad when he said "I'm not used of seeing you like that"
He's telling the truth, and I know that. I looked back at him and nodded. "Fine, but promise me that you'll be serious to it, and don't try to cross the line," I said. He nodded in response. I went back to my room and I buried my head on the table. I started crying quietly. I am not like this, I don't want to try and be like this. I always felt guilty when I see him, but why me?
"Hey, you okay Rapunzel?" Flynn came back to see me. I hurriedly wiped my tears and looked at him. "Yea, it's just that I have a headache," I said while holding my head. "Oh, well. You want to go to the clinic or maybe you want to go home, I can drive for you," Flynn said. Oh, Flynn is so worried about me. I giggled at him. "Hey, I'm fine okay?" I held his hand and gave him a smile.
Jack's POV
I am now alone, with no one to talk to. I felt so lonely since Rapunzel wasn't my friend anymore. She always make me laugh and smile like I didn't use to be. I just wish that we would get back together again. I don't know how stupid that decision was but I think it's for the best. I don't want to see Punzie getting hurt anymore. I wish that she would be happy with him, and to my friends. Luckily I still have few friends in this school. Still, Merida and Hiccup are still talking to me, but sometimes Merida is mad at me. Hiccup still didn't understand why I did that to Punzie. He told me it was the wrong choice. He told me that I should've fight for our friendship. I wanted to do that so badly, but I think I'll just cause more trouble to her. Still, she is the only one in my heart forever and ever.
