Rapunzel's POV
We were on our way to the beach, and I am so worried about Jack. I don't know if he's there or not. It's really far, it's like in the movie Paper Towns. Except I am looking for a loner and the one I hurt a lot. Why did it all come to this? Was it my fault? If I am not a superstar, would it be like this? Or would it be different?
"We need to get there fast. We only have 1 hour. We can go fast there but not with this traffic," Hiccup said. It was almost 15 minutes since the traffic, I really want to call a helicopter but my parents wouldn't let me use it unless necessary, but this is necessary to me.
"Don't worry, we can make it. I know," I said.
"Is Jack really important to you? I mean, ya would really go there just to say sorry?" Merida asked.
"Yes. And no, I'm not going there just to say sorry. I want him back, and I don't care what Flynn thinks about me being with Jack and you guys. He's a good guy, and Flynn needs to know that. I need to take control this time because this is my life, and I know what to do with it. I am not that princess and superstar today. I'm just an ordinary girl with a normal life...and friends, my real friends who are always there for me. I know I'm a little dramatic, but if I'm the actress and director of this movie, then this is my best movie ever, this is my life and it's like my favorite movie," I said and cried.
"Aww, you're making us cry," Merida and Hiccup gave me a hug. I am imagining Jack with me right now. I don't know why but I feel really special with them, especially with Jack. Is this what it feels to be ordinary?
Finally, we arrived at the beach. It was silent, there were few people around. I can hear the waves clash to each other. I hear the seagulls and the birds.
Where is Jack? I can't see him.
"Don't worry, he's here. Maybe he just went to buy drinks. Let's wait for a while," Hiccup said. He is somewhat positive today. I nodded my head.
I picked up rocks and threw them into the water. After a few minutes, he is still not there. I need to go home now. I lost hope, maybe he really didn't want to see me. But there is part of me that is not giving up, but if I continue, then there might be consequences. So, why wait? I mean, he hates me but still why am I following him? Is it because there is something special? Ugh, forget it.
"Come on guys, he's not going here," I said.
"Wait, let's just stay here for a while. I know he's here," Hiccup said.
"Hiccup, we still need to go home. Our parents might be looking for us ya know. And we have a project to do. Don't worry, Jack will go home anytime soon. Maybe he just needed time to move on," Merida said. She has a point too.
We all turned our heads around. It's almost dawn, we were walking sadly to the beach, until...
"Rapunzel?" I heard a voice. I know who it is, I was shocked. Oh no, is that who I think it is?
I turned around and saw Jack with an ice cream in his hand. He was wearing a blue summer shirt and white shorts. I cried as I saw him.
"Jack!" Merida and Hiccup jumped and hugged him. He was so happy. I wiped my tears. Merida and Hiccup let go of the hug and looked at me.
"We'll uhh, leave you two," Merida said. She punched Jack in the shoulder. "We'll talk about this later," Merida added.
They both left me and Jack. I kinda want to hug him right now but I don't know if it is okay.
"Jack...I don't know where to start, usually in the movies and series I make, it's easy to say something when you finally see the person who you're looking for. But...right now, I don't have any scripts, just words from the heart," I said. He sighs.
"Did you come all the way just to say that?" Jack asked.
"No, no. I'm just...nervous, and happy at the same time. I uhh...well, I'm here because I wanted to say sorry for all of the things I've done to you. Usually guys do this in the movie...but--"
"Can we stop at the movie thing?" Jack asked.
I nodded my head. "I know, sorry. It's just that, it got in my head. But yea, I am very very very very very very very sorry Jack!!! I know that I am shouting right now but I don't care! It's okay if you hate me, I mean, almost everyone hates me. I came here for you because I do care. It's hard to change, but it just hurt what you did to me. I don't understand why you stopped being my friend, and it hurts because I care about you the most. I hope you know that, I know what Flynn said and I know that he might be the reason why you did that but I don't care anymore. I am a grown up and I want to be free for a moment and just choose what I want, and this is what I want. I want you to be my friend again...please, I am so sorry about the way I acted," I pleaded.
Jack leaned forward and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"I understand, and I'm sorry too. I just don't want you getting hurt anymore, but it seemed like I hurt you more than before. It wasn't just you that changed, it's also me. I know it's really hard, but I hope you forgive me too. And I forgive you...I know who you are Punzie, and I know why you're doing it. I promise that I won't let go anymore, even if Flynn gets in my way, I'll be your friend no matter what, I'm not afraid anymore," Jack said with a smile.
I smiled at him and hugged him tightly.
"And Punzie...I have something to tell you," Jack said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I've been wanting to tell you this a very long time and I think this is also the reason why Flynn doesn't want me to come near you," he said.
He smirked a little, and he looked so nervous. I am so confused.
"I...I like you Punzie," he said.
"What do you mean like...a friend?" I asked. He scratched his head.

"No...more than a friend," he said.
