Jack's POV
It hurts so bad. I left Rapunzel crying at the hospital. I'm pretty sure she'll get mad at me, but that's actually a good thing because we won't talk to each other anymore. Still my love for her will be forever. I might live and die alone, because I know that I'll never meet a girl like her again. I fought back my tears from falling down. I need to be strong. What I'm doing is the right thing.
I've decided to call Flynn. I wanted to talk to him about my decision. I dialed the number and luckily it rang, knowing that he wasn't busy.
"Hello?" Flynn said. I took a big breath and now I'm ready to tell him.
"It's me Jack. Can we talk?" I asked. "If this is about you pleading to see Rapunzel or trying to get back to her then you're just wasting my time," Flynn said. He was about to hang up.
"No, it's not about that," I said. "Then what is this all about?" Flynn asked with a chuckle.
"If you want to know then we need to talk in private, I'll meet you at the coffee shop," I said. "Make sure this is important," Flynn said and hung up the phone.
I know now that I need to put an end to this. Before I could go to the coffee shop I took my phone out. I went to my contacts and deleted Rapunzel's number. I opened my Facebook and unfriended her. I unfollowed her in my Twitter. I've deleted her in all of my accounts. It is now time to forget her.
At the coffee shop,
"So, Jack. What do you want to talk about? I even left the studio for you because you told me this is important," Flynn said. "It's about Punzie. I've decided to leave her and never to come near her again," I said. Flynn chuckled.
"Oh really?" Flynn asked as he doesn't believe him. "But promise me to let Merida and Hiccup talk to her, they aren't involved here," I said. "You're just saying that because you want to get close to her secretly. Now why would I agree?" Flynn asked.
"Because if you won't agree...then I'll keep on getting close to her, I'll keep on talking to her without letting you know. You might not know who I am, but I'm also smart. I even got to see her secretly even though you warned me. But I'm telling you this, I want to do things right and I am a man in my word, it's up to you if you'll believe me or not," I answered.
Flynn didn't answer back and thought about what I've said. "Why should I believe you? I mean you're still Rapunzel's friend and I think that it's better if you tell her first," Flynn said. "Don't worry, I already did. Just ask her and she'll tell you all of it. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go," I stood up and left the coffee shop.
Rapunzel's POV
I can't believe Jack did that to me. He was my best friend and now he left me. This is all my fault, I should've just listen to Flynn so that my friends won't be involved in any of this. They were my only friends and now I lost one of them.
I was going out of the hospital today and to continue on going to school tomorrow. My head hurts a little bit, but nothing hurts more than my heart. I heard a knock on the door, and saw Flynn coming over.
"Hey, you okay?" Flynn asked. I nodded in response. "Can we talk? It's about Jack," he sat down in the side of the bed. "Why? What happened? Did he say something about me?" I asked. "Did he break up your friendship? Is that true?" Flynn asked.
"H-how did you know?" I asked. Flynn breaths deeply. "We both talked at the coffee shop. He told me you can still talk to Merida and Hiccup, but you will never get closer to him. He told me he wanted to do the right thing," Flynn explained.
"What? No please, tell me you're lying. That's not true!" I cried while grabbing his arm. "Look, he warned me too okay? He told me that if I didn't listen to him he'll try to disobey me again, do you want these things to happen again?" Flynn asked.
