Hey guys I'm finally back after about 1 month and a half and yes I am aware that people are actually starting to enjoy my chapters. I might delete delete my first book and possibly my third book and make a completely new book with more lengthy chapters and surprises. Well those are the plans that might happen between the few weeks of September and the first few days of October. And if you're already caught up with the book then leave comments of what might happen in the next chapters. Anyways here's Chapter 12, enjoy!
Elliot's POV
We stayed up there for about an hour and I gotta say it was the best night of my life, even though we didn't actually have a romantic dinner. We left the scenery and we said our goodbyes and we each left back to our own places. When I got in, I saw Riley, asleep on the couch. I couldn't just stand there and see her like that so I decided to pull a little prank on her. I went to the fridge and got whipped cream. After I went to pluck a feather from one of Riley's old toys and then the action began. First I put some whip cream on her hand. After I got the feather and rubbed it near Riley's nose. She did what I expected, she rubbed her nose with the hand that had whip cream. Before she actually reacted I ran to my room and shut the door, laughing my butt off and hoping she thought it was Maya. After a few seconds I heard Riley yelling. Three seconds after I came out and raised my voice over her saying "Riley why are you yelling!?" She responded saying "YOU!" "Me!? What are you talking about!?" I responded, hoping she would believe that I didn't pull the prank on her. "I'm saying that YOU did this to me!" She responded furiously. I felt really guilty so I spilled the beans "Fine! I did do it, but I didn't mean for things to get out of hand, I'm sorry, please forgive me Riles" I responded with guilt and sorrow. She forgave me but told me what happened on the date with me and Maya. "Well there isn't really much to tell about the date Riles but we kinda.... You know... Kissed.." The expression on her face was not what I expected whatsoever. She wasn't shocked but she was smiling and smirking. "What?" I said nervously. "I knew it! I knew I wasn't dreaming!" She said quickly and with pride. "Okay cool but yeah... That's what happened." I replied.
"So what's going to happen now Elli?" She asked curiously. "I really don't know Riley but I hope its good." I responded honestly. "Oh I hope things turn out right Elliot but I think its passed your bed time mister." She said with an attitude. "Okay jeez Miss. SassyPants, I'll go to sleep!" I said with sarcasm. "Okay well goodnight Elliot." She responded with a plain tone. "Night" I responded with no importance. I went to my room and shut the door and turned around and faced the door and fell on my bed like I was being pushed down. I layed there on my bed and stared at the ceiling wondering what were the results of the date. After a while I fell asleep.
