Ch 13 - Are we a thing?

What's up guys today I am here with another Chapter update! Like I promised that I would update more often, so here's Chapter 13, enjoy!

Elliot's POV
The next morning I woke up around 6:30. The sun was nearly out and shining so that meant that I was in the dim room. I finally got up and went into the bathroom and started the shower. I set it onto warm and felt the water just to make sure it was the right amount. Once I felt it I started to undress and got into the shower.

Moments later I was fully awake and drying myself from the shower earlier. I put on a white t-shirt and a blue plaid shirt over it, then I put on beige khakis. After dressing I went to go watch tv and made myself some eggs with bacon. When I was going to eat my food, Riley came out. Yeesh, she looked like a nightmare.. "Uh... Riley? Why don't you shower first then come eat?" I said slowly. She nodded and left.

I started eating and poured myself some orange juice and watched tv as well. When I finished I looked at my watch, only 10 minutes to go to school. Just then Riley came in rushing and just simply at a granola bar. We got our stuff and shoes on and headed out to the subway.

The ride to school was a usual 5 minute thing. After 5 minutes past, we headed back above ground and had to cross the street to get into the school. Once crossed we got in I saw Maya and I felt like I was frozen.

Maya came over to us and said "Wassup losers" "Hey peaches!" Riley said excitedly. "Hey Maya can we talk?" I said in a nervous tone. "Sure Elliot" she said simply. We walked over to over by the bathrooms and stood there, outside of the bathrooms. "Maya about last night-" I said in a serious way. "What about it Elliot?" She replied in a fast way. "Maya are we a thing? You know a couple?" I said nervously. She just stood there and was silent for a minute. She finally replied and said "Listen Elliot.. I've been thinking and... I'm sorry but I'm not ready for a relationship" she said in a sad mood. All I said was "Oh... That's okay... I get it..." And I just simply walked away.
