Ch. 6 - Ugh Gym Class

Riley's POV

Boo gym class!! Its the worst class in the entire school!! I would rather take math instead of gym, but no, my father "had" to choose my classes. Anyways we got into the locker rooms to change into our uniforms. Then I tied my hair into a pony tail and left the locker rooms going into the gym. I was quite impressed because the gym was pretty big. The gym teacher lined all the girls on one side and all the boys on the other. I stould in line next to Maya, wondering about how Elliot would do on his first day. I looked at straight across at him and then at dreamy Lucas. Then Maya interrupted my thought telling me that the gym teacher called my name to take attendance. After the teacher was done taking attendance, we started to play dodge ball. I was somewhat happy because it was a fun game and it was girls against boys.

Elliot's POV

Yes gym class!!! It was my favorite class of all time!! I was so hyped and excited that I accidentally went into the Girls lockeroom. But luckily there was a wall dividing up the entry way and the actual locker room. So I quickly got out making sure no one saw me, and went into the Boys lockeroom. I quickly changed into my gym uniform and got out of the locker room. I didn't know where to go, but luckily Lucas got out before me and was in line and told me to go stand in line next to him. We waited for the gym teacher to take attendance in the Girls' line and I was looking around until I saw Riley staring at Lucas. But Maya interrupted her and Riley was actually paying attention to her surroundings. But god, there was something about Maya that I really liked. But I just met her, so this was crazy. When the gym teacher was done taking attendance she came over to the Boys' line and took it. It was really long but I don't know why because there was 15 guys and 15 girls in the entire gym class. After a long time she announced that we playing dodge ball and that it was boys against girls. FINALLY a good game to start out the school year!
