"Where is it?" A husky, calm voice asks, and Camila looks up from her phone to find Lauren leaning against the wall outside her apartment. "...where is what?" She asks, but she knows exactly what the girl is referring to. "You know what." Lauren answers, almost ashamed. Her eyes scan the entire building, but not once does she look at Camila. She hasn't made direct eye contact with her in over a week.

She wouldn't admit it, but Camila was glad Lauren was speaking to her. Even if she was angry, she's happy the girl isn't avoiding her like she's the plague.

It's not until, Lauren speaks again that she remembers that seriousness of the conversation.

"Give it to me, Camila." Her voice is stern, but Camila's heart still flutters when she says her name. "Give what to you?"

Lauren takes a deep breath. "I don't want to play games. You know exactly what I want. Give it to me."

"Not until you say it."

"Say what?"

"The name."

There is a long pause, before Lauren finally meets Camila's eyes. She swallows a lump in her throat. "Please." Her voice is soft. It croaks and begs. "I flushed it down the toilet." Camila admits, and waits for Lauren's answer, but she only returns her attention back to the floor, before turning away.

Camila only watches. She watches until the girl disappears around the corner. Until she doesn't hear anymore footsteps.

Until she grows tired of waiting for her to come back.
