Susan's POV

When Ms Brown was embracing me, I was immobilised as I really didn't know how to react. I had thought of her many different responses to my request, including brushing me off with a sneer, but not this sincere, grateful hug.

"Susan," she said, "I can't give you private lessons."

I felt a lump in my throat. I felt two beads of salty moisture drop from my eyes, and I lowered my head immediately, willing her not to see. Alas, she noticed.

"Susan, but I can give you some friendly comments on your poems. Why don't we have lunch together tomorrow?" She soothed me.

"Sure," I looked at her, could not believe my ears.

Sorry for the short chappie!:) next one will be long, I promise
