They say blue moons only come once in a while
But back then I had two I could call mine
Two big, wonderful lights that could outshine any shooting star
The twist being the longer I looked at them
The more they seemed like a vast ocean
That I could spend hours losing myself in
Thinking those moments would last forever
But the passing of time is inevitable
And people change so quickly, so much
I go back to when I had two blue moons only for myself every night
Now they only come once in a while
