Unconventional

Prologue

Chen:

I met Xiumin back in high school; back when I was still called Jongdae and he was still called Minseok. We changed a lot since then, not only just our names. The one thing that hadn't changed, was how much we loved each other.

Ever since Baekhyun made that bet with me, I knew I was with the person I would spend the rest of my life with. I'd like to say that the bet was stupid and something I shouldn't have agreed to, but being a stupid high schooler I had agreed anyway. But it really wasn't like that at all. I'm actually happy that Baekhyun pushed me to take that bet. I never would've had the courage to ask Xiumin out if it hadn't been for the bet. I was too caught up in social protocol and what my friends and everyone else would think of me if I dated the chubby nerd.

I'm so happy I changed.

Although, in the seven years we had been together, there was one thing that had changed about our love, and that was HOW we loved each other. Other people might say we were unconventional and maybe even freaks, but we had explored new ways of showing our love for one another, and found it fit us quite nicely.

At first, we made love like any other couple, and it started to get old quickly. We just needed something that would make our love lives a little more exciting. And that's where the fun started. We started using toys and sending sexy texts to one another. Handcuffs came out in the bedroom on the regular and we had no shame in having sex in somewhat public places or showing some not-so-minor affection in public.

Again, some might say we're weird and that things like that should be kept in private, but we definitely didn't think so and were always looking for new ways to spice things up.

I really liked where our lives together were headed, and I think Xiumin did too.

A/N: I've been in love with this idea ever since I came up with it, and I fell even more in love with it once I started writing it. What I have written so far, I must say, is pretty great.

This is sort of a continuation of a one-shot I wrote called "Masterpiece Theatre" that's in my one-shot book. You don't have to read it first, but it gives you more insight into how Chen and Xiumin started dating.

I look forward to posting more of this story and seeing what everyone says about it. But I want to warn everybody ahead of time, it is more hardcore than anything I've ever written before, so if you find it not to your liking, please don't criticize me or the story, just stop reading it.

Lastly, I want to thank the person to who I dedicated this to, Meggs13. I didn't realize I wanted a story like this, but somehow your stories made me realize it. I hope you like this!
