Starting Over

Chapter 2- Unexpected

So now I'm at my home. Not too big nor too small. Just medium size. When I reached the front door, I opened it. Twisting the door knob. I'm glad that I don't forget all the common sense thing.

When I opened the door, a girl. Maybe 2 years younger than me, rolled her eyes against me. "Lily! Don't do that to your brother!" My mother said. "They're home!" Lily said, ignoring the old women's scolding. Wait, so this girl is my little sister? Why is she so rude to me? "Thank god! Is there Adam??" A boy said from the kitchen. "Yeah. There he is. Maybe pretending to forget".
"Lily!! Stop that shït!" My father yelled. I stepped in the house. It is nice and comfortable. The boy from the kitchen come to me and greeted me. "Hi, my name is Kevin. I'm your best friend". He was so familiar. It's like a déjà vu when i look at him.

"Son, you can ask anything." He said. My father held a family meeting for me to ask anything. Apparently I don't know what to ask. Because there is too many questions in my mind.

"Er"

"You can ask anything you want."

"I don't know what to ask". Suddenly I have a big question. "What happened?" Was my stupid big question that slipped out of my lips. They all looked at me strangely. Okay, I guess I shouldn't have ask that. "You had an accident" Kevin said. "Who did th-" Lily cut me off "oh c'mon!! He is just faking it. Anyway, i have to go to my friend's house in less than a half an hour". My father's eyes turned red, Filled with rage. "Lily!! Shut up! If you don't stop your non-sense you are grounded" my father yelled at her then let out a big sigh. "Meeting dismissed." My father said. "Son, if you have anything to ask, you can just ask Kevin or us" he said. "Okay, dad". His head lifted, eyebrows furrowed in confusion when he heard the 'dad' word before smilling.

Kevin and I went to my bedroom. "This is your bedroom" Kevin said. Trying his best not to be awkward. "Let me tell you something important before going to school tomorrow" he said. "Wait, I'll take my note" I said. "Ahhh, already yourself. The sarcastic king". I'm not being sarcastic. I am serious. But whatever. "So, you're very popular in our school. And the first thing you gotta remember is your girlfriend. Rosie. She is probably the hottest and prettiest girl in our school. And she is your girlfriend. Rosie Valentine." I gotta find out what she look like. "So, this is your story. This guy, Joshua. Crashed into you. You fell and hit your head on the ground real hard. Everyone knows about the incident". What? Incident? "Incident?" I voiced my thought "They -the school- call this an incident" He explained "You've been in a three weeks coma when that happened." Holy shïts, i didn't know that i had been sleeping for three weeks. What the-

We talked what seem like an hour. And it's already dark. Time for dinner. So we walked downstairs. We went to the kitchen and saw my parents cooking. So we wait at the dinning table for them to finish cooking. Sitting on a chair. "Hey boys. Hungry?" My mother asked. "Yeah, mom" I said. Her eyes instantly lit up after I called her my mom. We finished eating. We stayed at the living room watched TV for a while. And now it's time for Kevin to go back home. "See you tomorrow. I'll be here tomorrow to pick you up to school"He said. "Okay"

In the morning i got ready as fast as i could because i overslept. "Can we go now?" Kevin yelled from downstairs. "Yeah yeah" i replied. When i reached downstairs. I saw Kevin standing in front of the door. "What took you so long?".
"I overslept".
"Mom! We are going to school".
"Okay honey!" She yelled from the kitchen. we reached school at about 8:30AM. When i walk with Kevin, all people seemed to gossip about me. About my 'incident'.

Suddenly a girl came with a boy catching up to her running towards me shouting 'Adam, ur back!! I missed u!!' And kisses me on the cheek but I didn't react for I don't know her. But she looked really familiar. "I've been waiting for you to come back from the incident." She screamed in excitement. Tears running down her cheeks "Oh sorry Adam, I am Ashley, your best friend since diapers day" she said, realising I don't remember anything. "Hey. That's why you looked really familiar to me" I said. She turned to Kevin and hug him "Now let us take you to your class" Kevin said. "Your next class is with us" Ashley said. "Wait guys, I wanna meet Rosie" I said. And silent took over it for a while. Ashley finally broke the silence saying "Yeah. You should meet her. She's amazing" Ashley said with a sarcastic tone holding on to a guy that I think is her boyfriend as she rolls her eyes.

Ashley has a beautiful brown eyes which is big. She has a million dollars smile. Her hair down to her shoulder. straight sandy blonde hair. She is wearing a top that spelled 'no one gives a sh#t' and wears a thin black jacket and dark blue jeans.

The boy standing next to her has a muscular body. Big biceps. Is wearing a tight shirt.

Boy.... I was confused when Ashley rolled her eyes when she said that Rosie is amazing with the sarcastic tone she used. I'm confused that was she saying it sarcastically or a fact. Well... Guess I'm about to find out.

We were about to meet Rosie. And suddenly Kevin turned to a girl that is playing with her phone said "hey Rosie" and I was surprised that she looked more beautiful than i thought. "Hey Adam!!" She screamed. Ignoring Kevin and hugged me tightly. Somehow, I manage to look at the corner of my eye and saw Ashley rolled her eyes for the millionth times since I mentioned Rosie and said something to her boyfriend. But i couldn't make it out what it was. "Hey Rosie" I said, returning the hug. Then she just back away and continue to look at her phone like I was no where there. Now I know why Ashley hated her so much. "Okay, i have to get going to my next class" I said sadly. And immediately Ashley saw that sadness in my face and walked to face at Rosie. "Hey, bïtch. Why don't you say goodbye so we can go without looking back at your ugly face" said Ashley. Furious fills her eyes. "GOODBYE bï-atch" said Rosie then she walks to me and said "look after your best friend. So she won't be in my basement being tortured" walking away. "OH. I'M SO AFRAID" Ashley yelled with a fake scared expression. Now that's unexpected.
