"Come on Buddy, it's time to come inside!" I called out trying to get my dog to come back in. Off in the distance, weaving through the large pine trees was my beautiful white husky.
"Good boy! If only all men were as easy as you are." I chuckled softly realizing I was comparing men to a dog, snapping out of the thought when he barked at me, shaking his tail to get my attention, either for food or so I would pet him more.
I smiled at him and soft scratched him behind the ear, watching him enjoy himself happily. Something made me look up and noticed the stone angels were still there, standing behind some of the trees just peering over, as if they were just watching me. "Let's go inside now boy." I softly say still looking at the angels that just stood there, looking into their stone eyes for a moment. If they were suppose to be angels, why were they so creepy looking? How come they always seemed to be following me? Nether of these questions did I have answers for nor could I go to anyone about it.
While at the corner of the kitchen, I start to feed Buddy and listening to my voice mails from any calls that I had gotten while sleeping.
"Hey Luna it's me John!" I closed my eyes while hearing his voice, setting Buddy's food dish on the floor slowly. The voice mail continued, "I know you said you didn't want to hear from me ever again after what happened Tuesday, but I miss you. What happened is behind us, I will never do it again I promise. Just please call me back soon, okay?"
I sighed in relief as the voice mail ended. "You should have thought about missing me when you decided to cheat on me. Not to mention you've made grand promises before and never went through with any of them." I said speaking to myself as if I was talking to him. I smile and pet Buddy softly, "when will he get through his thick skull huh? This is probably the reason why I will never go with another man."
Afterwards, I went to my room and put on my work apron and got ready to leave for work, since I was the only one who worked there. Luckily it was exactly hard job, it was just work with the plants and make them look pretty for other people's enjoyment. It was like the story of my life all wrapped up into one box, my few friends all left to be with their significant other, while I'm stuck here making everyone else happy with my flowers.
I walked out of my house and made my way to the store, I felt like someone was following me. I knew the angels always followed, but this time it felt like someone else. "Maybe I am just losing my mind even more so then I already had." I walked inside the store then started to clean up around the place, afterwards, I turned on the lights to show that it was opened for everyone. While waiting for people to stop by, I watered the plants and started to work some of the orders that I had gotten overnight.
I heard the bell ring showing someone had came in, and without even looking over at the person.
"Hello, let me know if I can help in anyway."
"Okay, I will do that. By the way do you happen to have any roses?" I hear the stranger ask, a man judging from his voice. As I look over him, I smile some slightly dazed by this man I haven't seen before. He looked to be around my age, brown hair and his quirky fashion was something random, but in a way cute.
"Well I happen to have a good selection of roses for you." I say as I lead him over to the red roses. I tried not think about, but couldn't help it, whoever the girl was, she was very lucky this man was getting the roses for.
"Oh no, I'm not looking for red roses. I was wondering if happen to have any white roses." He said with a smile upon his face.
I nodded slowly with a big smile. "Yes I do have white roses, those are my favorite ones." I say proudly as I take him to one of the corner showing him the white roses. I watched his smile grow and picked up one and smelled it.
"Lovely, thank you very much." He says with a smile.
"Your welcome, how many would you like? And would you like them in a vase?"
He looked back at the flowers, then at me while he was thinking. Finally he answered, "I'll take four but there is no need for the vase, thank you though."
I smile at him and nodded, as I walked over to the counter and wrote up a order for the flowers. "So is there a special someone those are for? If you don't mind me asking." As I asked him, I looked up at him and saw him chuckle softly.
"Yeah, their for someone, but the problem is though is I've never meet her before."
"Really? You have never meet this person, but yet you are getting her flowers?" I asked a bit confused, but still found it a bit sweet.
"Yeah." He says slightly kicking his red converse together. "I've never meet her personally, but I know a bit about her though. Wow that makes me sound like a strange person. My name is the Doctor by the way."
I smile and hand him the flowers after he paid for them. "It's all good, it is nice to meet you Doctor, my name is Luna." He smiled and nodded, walking out of the store with the flowers.
Later that night, I walked home alone sighing slightly, bored from the normal life and nothing special happening once again, besides meeting that Doctor fello. I hoped he would get whatever he wanted with those flower since he had never meet the girl he was giving them to. As I approached my door, I saw there was something upon my doorstep. Sitting on the mat was four white flowers, and I couldn't help it but to smile from his kindness.
"Move now!" I turned my head as I heard someone yell at me, seeing the Doctor running up to me. He took my hand and started to run inside through the door, locking it quickly. "You're in terrible danger."
"Danger? What do you mean?!" I asked shocked.
