Why I hate religion but love God

The definition of religion is- the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or Gods

Now I don't know about you but that kind of sounds like we are being controlled day by day in our lives. That isn't what God wants. God wants us to give willing, love willingly and believe willingly.

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

God doesn't tell us we have to do anything. He tells us what we should do and allows us to chose whether or not we follow that path.
